The place was nice, room was nice with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. A little loud with traffic in the morning. Easy walk or Uber ride to draw bridge.

Good pick

Older but well kept property. The breakfast they offer is delivered to your room with a choice of coffee, pastries, and fruit starting at 8 am. Good location with several eateries nearby.

The hotel is extremely clean though the furniture in the room dated. Free parking and you can walk into Mystic and to the Mystic Seaport Museum or a quick drive. Also, a short walk to the Amtrak station. Very good swimming pool. Staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast skimpy (one tangerine, one banana and one small piece of cake or a muffin per person and poor coffee). Nonetheless,we had a very nice stay.

We have been visiting Mystic for many years and always wondered about staying at the Taber Inn(e), and we are happy we finally did. The room service breakfast was great, the hotel staff was friendly, and the rooms were charming. The one drawback was the street noise in the morning.

A Mystic must stay

We had a wonderful stay, and the room exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly, the entire property was incredibly clean and well kept. A must stay for couples or families in the Mystic area.

We have been coming to the taber inn for many years and have never been disappointed. The only thing i wish they had was either a microwave or small fridge in the room. Otherwise they are perfect

It was very lovely with picturesque surroundings. One suggestion is I think they should provide mini-fridges in the room. Many people take restaurant meal leftovers to go, and there should be a fridge to store them in.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Taber Inn. We were greeted and given a small tour as we were escorted to our room. Our room was spacious and we loved having a back porch to sit on. The jetted tub was clean and wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The indoor pool is large and had locker room access. It is secured with a security code so only guests may enter. Only downside: rooms have no mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker. The hotel does offer coffee, fruit, and pastry delivery to your room at breakfast should you request it. That was a nice treat. The TV was a bit on the small side given the large space we had in the room. We would certainly stay here again.
