The Seaside Maisonette in Tolo provided the perfect, laid-back week following a very on-the-go Greek island cruise. We were mesmerized by the viewâ the water, clouds, and twinkling lights of the islandâand the sound of the lapping waves on the beach out front. Dips in the ocean were so refreshing on the sunny days, and the rainy day allowed us to read on the very comfortable couch, enjoying the sound of raindrops and thunder. The air con in the bedrooms was excellent and a fan in the living room kept the air moving. Pull out screens on the French doors were helpful for keeping out the evening time mosquitoes.The 2 decks were fantastic- amazing for sunrises and tranquil evenings. Great for sun bathing too if youâre into that- there are loungers provided outside the ground floor door. Wider beaches were down the way a bit in both directions but the little beach was enough to provide easy sea entry.The restaurants along the beach, especially Taverna To Neon right next door, were lovely and delicious, and the grocery store, Hellas Star was right down the street to pick up all we needed for breakfast and snacks.The host was wonderfulâ clear, prompt communicationâ with special welcome touches, and quick follow up when we needed extra towels. Notes: -the floors get very dusty (due to adobe type walls?) but house slides, broom and mop are available.-the showers are quirky but get the job done. (The bidet in upstairs bathroom is a nice touch!)We would love to return!
