Overall the accomodation, food and service was exceptional. The only think that was average was the onsen in the hotel. Otherwise no complains. Will stay here again if back in the area.
The owners go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. On my first night, I was struggling finding a place for dinner. The owner went out in the rain to take me to a restaurant and ensure I will be well taken care of. They speak English and French. The breakfast is delicious. Also, they offer a discount for rental and ski lift tickets. I will go back in a heartbeat!
We had a wonderful vacation in Nozawa Onsen, at staying at St. Anton definitely contributed to that! Everyone there are so pleasant and generous and helpful and genuinely kind. The location is right in the middle of town as well as an easy walk to the slopes. We had breakfast every morning at the inn and it was delicious. We would 100% recommend staying at St. Anton and would like to say “Thank You So Much” one more time to everyone there!
Great location and close to ski slopes. Onsen within hotel is amazing. Breakfast is incredible! Staff we always helpful! If you stay at this hotel you can get 30% off ski rentals!
Our trip was fabulous. We highly recommend Haus St. Anton. I never write reviews but was compelled to after the wonderful service and treatment we received. When there weren’t any taxis available and we feared we would miss our train back to Tokyo, the owner, without hesitation, kindly offered to drive us and our 1-year-old to the station. It is not a short trip either!
We can’t wait to return! The accommodations are cute and cozy and make for the perfect ski weekend. The little coffee shop attached is delicious too!
