I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasnât a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice.
I stayed at this property for four nights, and the staff were very kind. Surprisingly, the kitchen was pretty good, and I tried many Napali dishes that I had tried before. I will say that they were limited on a drink selection like cokes and other snacks. However, on the whole, I was happy with my stay.
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I would visit the country just to stay here. Fresh organic meals, friendly, courteous, professional staff, awesome views, perfect location, safe, accommodating, it's like staying with family!
A nice hotel located about 5minutes walk outside of Nagarkot Village on the road to the observation tower. Staff were friendly, the room was a good size, it had good WiFi and the shower had hot water. The only small criticism I have is the beds were slightly hard however I would still definitely recommend this hotel to people on a budget.
So many hotels in Nagarkot, so it was good to have the photo and know what we were looking for. Once we were on the right road - directed on it by showing someone the picture - we soon spotted it nestled into the hill side.
The room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. Beds were comfortable with clean bedding and the shower was great - good supply of hot water with a power boost so there was plenty of water pressure (unlike other places we have stayed).
We didn't eat there so cannot comment on food but the Nepali chiya was good.
Shame we had clouds so didn't actually see mountains but still a stunning view from our bedroom window.
No hidden extras - you get all as promised like water and wifi in the room at no extra cost (we have been charged for both in other places)
Very happy with our stay. great value for money.
Nice location, peacefull place with small garden a bit out of village. Wifi is working or not, hot water is available only one hour morning and evening, but if you remember that, it's not problem.
We arrived at Nepal's new year, when the village was full of locals, also night before our staying in hotel.
Homely place - we were ther for a night with our grown up children . Enjoyed the stay . Nagarkot is small place and we walked our way to town with small shops. Good and clear view of hotel rooms.
The staff at this hotel are incredible. They work so hard to make sure your stay is perfect and on top of that, they're really honest people. From
The advice they give to the prices they charge, it's so reasonable and so honest. The rooms are so clean with crisp white linens, and really comfortable as well. There's also warm water always! About the food, it's an entirely vegetarian restaurant. I'm not a vegetarian, but the food was incredible. It was full of flavour, fresh ingredients, always served warm and so filling. Portions are very large and prices are incredibly honest. The views too are fantastic, and it's right on the path to the view tower of the mountain range. I would absolutely recommend this hotel as a peaceful getaway for my friends and family visiting Nepal.
We enjoyed our stay, very pleasant staff. The hotel has good views of the mountains when there few clouds. Located in a peaceful and beautiful position.
On my first trip to Nepal I wanted to experience thus country away from the biggest tourist hubs around Pokhara and the Everest area. I chose Nagarkot as at 2000 m altitude it offers beautiful views of the Himalayan range as well as offering the opportunity to get to remoter villages and getting to know Napalese culture and people.
I was looking for affordable accommodation and could not have wished for better than Mount Paradise. The friendliness of the staff who looked after me in every possible way, the lovely location surrounded by woods with views to the Kathmandu valley as well as some of the Himmalayan peaks, a huge range of vegetarian food and a little garden to chill out in - it was the perfect base for me frim which to explore the area. It is more than likely that I shall be back.
i'm glad that i made a last-minute decision to stay up here instead of in kathmandu... the nepali people whom i have met have been among the nicest people in the world, and while i'm sure that i would have thought this had i stayed in kathmandu, i really appreciated getting into the countryside where the air is cleaner and roads are less crowded... i caught a glimpse of the high himalayas during an easy sunrise hike from the hotel... definitely a positive experience in nagarkot...
That was a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Mr. Mohan, the hotel manager who is truly doing his job with his heart. Nice hospitality and wonderful vegeterian breakfast and dinner. Hotel is located on the way of Nagarkot trail to its view tower. The only concern is that our room was too cold and it was kind of making us discomfort. The room was too big with a wonderful view of the Valley but heather was too weak and unpractical. Overall we stayed 2 memorable nights in Nagarkot and in Hotel Mount Paradise.
We stayed in March which is a cooler time of year, so the room was cold. The rooms are fairly small but comfortable. Mohan who was really helpful provided extra blankets and a small heater. Unfortunately the main building this time of year is in shadow for most of the day. There is a garden here which catches the sun but no comfortable seating available, comfy chairs are in the pipeline. It would have been nice to have been able to sit out in the warm spring sun. Good vegetarian food available but not much protein included. We discussed this aspect with Mohan and he will look at including some tofu or paneer into some of the dishes. They do not use any eggs here. Wifi was good. It's easy to walk down into town (10 minutes) and up to a great view point approx 2 kilometers away, the tower/view point is a further 30/40 minutes walk. Good view of the Himalayas from the hotel depending on weather conditions. Overall a good place to stay but not exceptional.
