This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The projector by the hot tub made for the best movie night — such a fun and unique touch! Honestly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place. Clayton was incredibly responsive; I had a quick question about the hot tub and he replied within a minute or two. The location is fantastic, and the sound view from the deck was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Outer Banks. House was wonderful & kids loved the hot tub! Location was fantastic and owner provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and check out. Even went out of their way to have the cleaning crew look for a lost item for us after we left.

Best Bungalow

Home was clean, kitchen fully furnished with amenities, so many extra’s (bikes, beach towels, etc). Hot tub with the movie screen really helped my sore muscles after the drive and then beach day. I will stay again and recommend this home as a great place to stay.

Great Stay at Nags Head

Clayton's home was everything we had hoped for and more! We came to Nags Head for a surf competition and were a very short drive to the pier which was so convenient! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the home was stocked with everything you would need. We really enjoyed the fireplace and hot-tub to warm up after a long cold day in the water. Clayton was responsive and helpful and made checking in and out a breeze! We can't wait to come back soon!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We had an amazing stay! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Very easy communication with the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and movie screen under the house. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We booked this property for four nights as a quick spring break getaway and it met all of our expectations. The property is just as pictured and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe although it is fairly dark at night. Kudos to the owner for taking the time to leave helpful notes and labels around the house and for preparing a binder containing key information, ‘house rules’ and restaurant suggestions. All of the living room furniture was in good shape and comfortable. I will note here that watching television in the living room was a bit challenging. When the HVAC turns on it is fairly loud and we found ourselves having to turn up the volume on the television. All the kitchen items (pots, pans, utensils etc. ) ranged from fair to good condition and, as a whole, the kitchen was well equipped. It was a nice surprise to find a few spices and other pantry staples like parchment paper and tin foil in the cabinets. We regularly stay in VRBO properties around the country and this was the first time we had a host provide these items so it was a nice touch point that made this property more memorable. My wife and I slept in the master bedroom and the king size bed was firm but very comfortable. Our 18 year old son opted for the lower bunk bed in the next bedroom and also found it to be comfortable. The host was very quick (minutes) to respond to a few questions we had which was another big plus. Overall this was a great experience and we would stay here again.

Great visit to Nags Head

This was our first visit to Nags Head and we really enjoyed our stay! The house is very centrally located and was perfect for our family of 5. The owner was very responsive to questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay. The village club was incredibly convenient and we loved the beach and the pool!

Amazing Stay!

The property is absolutely stunning. I loved the decor!!!! It reminded me of some homes I've seen on HGTV. Definitely a lot of thought went in for the guests, from the coffee station, to the folded towels and linens on each bed, so you know they are fresh and clean. I wish I looked at the tag for the sheets, so I can buy some for my home. The property manager was very accommodating and responds quickly. The instructions to enter the property were easy to follow too. Overall 5 stars!

Absolutely Excellent

We could not have been more impressed! Beautiful property, high quality furnishings and amenities, really good size bedrooms with lots of storage space. Everything we needed was there. Great location, pretty! Quiet, host was super communicative, and helpful, responded to my emails the same day. Home was very, very clean. Hot tub with little movie theater was a blast for the kids! Two under deck parking spaces, so rain wasn't an issue moving things out of the car. 24 cameras, so we felt super safe. We will definitely be re-booking! Gas station right at the top of the road. Snap this property up if you see it. Cosy, modern, clean, lots of room! We'll be back!

Great place for a getaway

My family had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable and clean and as advertised. The Beach Club gives perfect access to the ocean along with a great pool and a snack bar. The neighborhood is quiet. Great view of the bay. A golf course next door. The hot tub, outdoor shower, bikes and extra chairs made everything easy. Delicious restaurants are close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Fun stay at OBX

We enjoyed our stay. There were a lot of nice touches that were appreciated. That said, some things were misrepresented or stingy given the price we paid per a night. Here’s some pros and cons I would have appreciated knowing up front: Pros: hot tub was a nice way to end the day, nice deck to enjoy meals/beverages, good central location that allowed us to quickly go a variety of places, games for kids ages 3 and up and the legos were much appreciated for our kids (4 and 9), a variety of kitchen items/utensils (handheld juicer, wine bottle opener, measuring cups, etc), and washer and dryer with 2 tide pods which we used and worked well Cons: the 2 beds advertised as queens are actually full size (per the sheets we made the beds with) which would have been a deal breaker for us when booking, only left 2 garbage bags, a single roll of toilet paper per a bathroom, and one hand towel per a bathroom for a week long stay, pans were very scratched (Teflon) and knives were super dull which made cooking more challenging, no dishwasher which isn’t ideal for larger groups who want to cook and stay more than a couple day, and some items/renovations just felt cheap or run down Overall, I would not book again because of the small beds, limited supplies (garbage bags, TP, etc), and beat up cooking supplies and no dishwasher for cooking.

Excellent place for family

Overall, the place was very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location was excellent, just off the main street, and a block from the ocean, with ocean views from deck. The home is an older home, with many rounds of improvements, and I suspect budgets were tight. But when we walked in, it had a clean fresh smell. We had to set up our beds, and at the end, had to wash our dishes. All the beds and furniture was an eclectic mix of old, but still very functional. There was only one trash bag available to use, and fortunately, we were there for only two days and did not need more. Parking was off-street. For the reasons stated above, I cannot give it 5-stars. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Would I stay there again? Yes.

Short trip on the Outer Banks

We just spent a great time at Claytons rental. The house was spotless , furniture very cute and location great. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway!
