My go-to hotel whenever I'm in Nairobi. I just love it - the location, price, condition of the facility, kindness and professionalism of the staff are unmatched. I only had one problem during this stay - internet problems that drove me to the hotel next door to use THEIR WiFi. Problem was resolved by the next day.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It is a part of a high end hotel and share a large pool, beautiful grounds, and an outdoor bar and bar menu. Very safe neighborhood, walking during the day, and a very pleasant place to hang out in the evening.

A great landing place after a busy city tour

Clean, safe and friendly a great start to a Kenyan adventure. The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked and the rooms, whilst basic had everything you needed. Excellent value.

Quality has definitely decreased in all categories since the new ownership ! My first stay at upper hill in 2010 was outstanding, been a return customer since, quality of staff always excellent. Prices went up quality went down, end of story !
