Staff all very friendly, tourist/English friendly, tasty breakfast options (Japanese or Western), 4 nice spas, clean all around, Kusatsu great city to visit, would stay again!
The breakfast included was fresh and filling with local foods included. They still took time to best explain everything even with the language barrier. The staff was helpful and from the private onsen to the room, everything was very clean. Very close to the town center without the possible noise and foot traffic if it was any closer. I would stay here again and recommend to my friends and family.
Very nice hotel in Kusatsu. Good breakfast options, 4 private onsen which you can use at any time. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the staff always helpful. There is also free parking available.
Location is excellent, stay was pleasant, 4 separate room hot tub spring baths were excellent đ if only bed not too soft and old, this will be a 5 stars gem.
Very clean and great service! The whole place is bean-themed which is very cute. Every part of the welcome snack and breakfasts had some kind of bean. They also have very nice free homemade drinks. Your room also has a chocolate bean snack which is really yummy! Thereâs a private toilet (no bath) and sink in your room, with plenty of private baths available on the first floor. Love that the bath water is sourced from Yubatake - very silky. Bath amenities and toiletries were also amazing, and you can wear the provided yukata (limited sizing) out around town. So you can actually pack fewer clothes for your trip!
Breakfasts were excellent. Every staff were friendly and we really felt like home. Location is nearby the major travel spot but not noisy.
Everything is good, just a very little thing: moved luggages by hand to room at 2nd floor. To me as a hushand and a daddy, it meant luggages of 3 persons I moved.
Absolutely loved our story here. If you book here, get the Sora room. It is worth it. It has its own private bath and lots of space. We loved it. And the town surrounding, is so cute and fun to walk around. It is a short walk from the bus when you arrive. The staff was so welcoming and sweet. We highly recommend staying here.
My two adult sons and daughter in law and I were very happy with our overnight at Hanaingen. We arrived an hour early for checkin but we were greeted warmly with wonderful local sweets and macha. The traditional tatami rooms had comfortable beds plus the usual modern hotel amenities.
The four private Onsen rooms are convenient to access plus you're minutes away from Yubataka and the bus terminal in this very walkable town.
The beautiful breakfast included with the room is another highlight.
Highly recommend!
