It is a hotel mainly for men so for me was great because public bath was just for me haha Hotel is far from train station but the bus leave you 4 min walking to the hotel, service is good and breakfast is great… if you want to eat early line starts before the hour they announce

Overall, very good. If I had to have a say for some improvement, I would say the location is inconvenient: it is a bit far from the station. It would be nicer if you have a couching service, etc. But the location is wonderful when you come by car. It is near motor way.

Highway hotel at the edge of town - almost an hour walk from train station. Very friendly and helpful staff though who helps us forward our luggage while we walked the Nakisendo Trail. We found a small Ramon restaurant around the corner where a delightful woman of at least 80 years prepared dinner for us for a most reasonable price. We spoke to her and she to us using Japanese to English and English to Japanese translator apps. We tried the interesting appetizer she brought us. They tasted good and upon asking our host what is was, the translator said “That’s a bee’s child”. Enjoy the larvae and the ramen. We did.
