The hotel and the room were both clean and presentable.
But both safes in the room didn’t work along with the ice machine on our floor level, but managed to use one on the upper floor. We also found the room a little noisy as it faced the main road. The hotel is well positioned surrounding walking distant to the many shops and restaurants on 5th Ave.
My booking also included a complimentary continental breakfast, which states on the menu pastries fruit and jams. I asked at the time if this also included toast, which we were told did.
We were offered an upgrade for 4 dollars more that included a number of additions, but felt we only wanted a light breakfast, and boy was it light. We got no jams, but only 2 minute croissants, 1 strawberry and a few blueberries all on the same plate. If I’d have know how minimal this was I’d of certainly upgraded for the 4 dollars.
If you were to pay for the breakfast we received it was priced at 13 dollars on their menu.
