It's ok

Cleanliness of the pool and rooms were questionable. Should be cheaper - it's not a five star hotel. Overall, we had a lovely trip. Lots of weed-smokers on the weekends and you can smell it in the hotel :( The pictures look much higher quality than it really is. Also, we never really knew what was happening (food hours, activities) and we even downloaded the Riu app. The beach is really lovely!

Area was beautiful. The toilet stopped flushing the night before my check out and the shower water was never hot. But overall a great experience and fun time

This property is falsely advertised as coming with room credit. In reality, you get coupons with additional terms and conditions. But the coupons are for things like weddings. Or $10 off of a purchase of $100 (in other words, imposing an additional term of requiring additional spend to obtain a benefit). These are deceptive practices. I can’t believe the resort would do this and Expedia allows it, but i guess that is the world we live in today.

The only suggestion I have is to upgrade the TV and the available channels and apps. Our TV lost sound serval times and was very glitchy. We were in room 1531. Staff and service was excellent at all times.

Meal options were excellent, food delicious!! Discovered a roach in the bathroom approx. 3am. Didn’t see another one for the duration of my stay. Another member of my party found one in her bed. Staff should be required to wear hair nets. Found a long strand of hair on the sheets

The staff was so friendly. I mean they were outstanding and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time . You were greeted by each person you came in contact with. The only issue we had was the plumbing the pressure of the water when flushing was low , making it difficult for it to flush when needed. We called maintenance twice and they came right away to fix the issue. I also feel That they furniture like the couch was outdated and the blanket on our bed was old as well. It had hair stuck to it and it was rough. I slept on the sheets which were clean and soft . Overall I had a great time .

Our rooms flooded on the first night. From there it was down hill. Worst experience. Dining reservations were a nightmare. Some staff members very rude.

Several things wrong with room on arrival, floors were dirty turned our white socks black, phone in room did not work, thought it was all inclusive but every restaurant required reservations and must make them on the app. Well the app did not work told me no available reservations for everyday we were there. You could eat at the buffet but for sanity purposes I am not able to eat buffets. On the website it stated Miller Lite was available, it is not. The staff were okay but not overly excited to help. Kind of acted annoyed when I asked for help. I have stayed at Riu Palace in Cancun and got excellent service. The pool was nice and clean, the drinks were okay, the Ocean is amazingly beautiful waters. I loved the beach and ocean! The balcony view from our room was great, the furniture on it could be better, was plastic chairs like you buy at a Walmart not high end like the price of the resort was.

The people were fantastic! Very fun and extremely sweet! The only dislike was when we moved rooms for a better view, the AC didnt work that well, the phone was disconnected, they were also repainting the building and didnt let us know, we had visitors on our balcony every morning. Other than that, i would definitely come back! #BAHAMALOVING
