Great staff especially Nawa

We stayed 2 nights at Daffodils with another couple. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the pool was great. It’s in a good position to walk to the beach and tuk tuks. The staff were very helpful - particularly Nawa. He was friendly and nothing was too difficult. We had an amazing dinner at Salt which is only a few doors away. Recommended.

Star Service

The star of our stay was the staff- great service made up for shortcomings, like a lack of a mini bar to keep drinks cold. The hotel was nice enough and the private dipping pool in the penthouse was a lovely bit of luxury. We ate here once and while reasonably priced the food wasn’t anything special. Conveniently located for the Main Street. Wouldn’t recommend staying in Negombo longer than one night/day before your flight but if you do then lounging poolside at daffodils is not a bad way to wait.

This was by far the most beautiful hotel of our stay in Sri Lanka. The room, breakfast, pool and staff were absolutely first class. It is a very new hotel and the staff are proud of it and extremely accommodating and helpful. We also had dinner one of the evenings and it was the best curry we had in the country (and we had a lot!)
