50th birthday weekend

This was the perfect house for my 50th birthday weekend with my girlfriends. The homeowner was a great communicator before and during the stay, making sure everything was comfortable for us. The house was very clean and decorated very modern and chic. The backyard felt like being at a resort hotel! I would definitely recommend this home and will be booking my next stay here soon! Great stay

Wonderful property. Very spacious for the size of the house. The backyard is incredible. Very clean. The host was very helpful and responsive. When we got there we found that the Keurig was broken and a replacement was delivered in a few hours! Easy to park in driveway and street and nearby a Shoprite. I would stay at this property again. The description is mostly correct. It states there are 3 futons but I would call that misleading. There is one room with 2 futons. One might be a queen size but the one that is listed as full size is defenitly smaller and too hard to sleep on. I believe the twin one was one of the couches in the ulstairs living room. That was very comfortable. With that being said though the couches in both living rooms were very large and comfortable for an tall adult to sleep on. Overall a wondeful property for spending a few days in Asbury Park.

Nice owner/nice pool!

Fatima was a most helpful and attentive owner. The house was about 6 minuted from the Ashley Park Dog Beach. It was spacious and I wished I had my whole family with me but I was in town for a quick minute but wanted a place with a nice pool that was dog friendly. It was quite extravagant for just me but my Chihuahua and I enjoyed the pool/pool area. It was COMPLETELY fenced so she could happy explore while I swam many laps. While the house was clean in terms of no dust or dust bunnies and the dishes and glassware were sparkling and the bed I slept in was VERY comfortable with really nice sheets, there were issues that I am pretty sure housekeeping had not reported to the owner. For example, the icemaker in the door of the fridge shot ice onto the floor and would not stop until you manually reset it-then picked up all the wayward cubes. There was a drawer by the stove that completely fell apart when I opened it. I happened to meet the cleaner in the driveway as I was leaving and walked her through all that I had photographed. I hoped that helped. This would be a great house for several couples with kids to enjoy. Pool toys, grill, TVs in every room. Quite near nice beaches!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booked this property in February. Received no communication regarding anything until I reached out the week before my stay in August. Poor communication with the host doesn’t respond to messages or texts. The morning of she texts me a video of damage to the pool and stating we can’t stay at the property. She gives me a whole story and how she is gonna work hard to find us another place to stay as long as we don’t contact VRBO directly. We allowed her 5 hours to try to resolve this issue by finding us another house or booking us hotel accommodations. Long story short she is a scammer. The video she sent about the damage to the pool was from July 6th and we were supposed to check in on August 4th. She said the damaged had happened on August 3rd which was clearly a lie. When I finally asked her to refund me she sent me a shady screenshot of a random amount of money (not the full amount we paid). I confronted her and she said she wanted to confirm where I wanted the rest of the money returned. This made no sense as a refund would be fully refunded to the same card I booked the reservation with. I finally stopped all communications with her and contacted VRBO customer service after I realized she is a scam. They have given me a full refund and they are investigating taking down her listing for this property. Do yourself a favor and do not book this property. You will not be staying in the house and will have to scramble day of as she tries to scam you to keep your money.

Asbury Park Long Weekend

Fatima’s property was perfect for our friends and family trip to Asbury! The property was clean and spacious. We had a total of 9 people and everyone has their own space. The pool was still open even though it was late September which we appreciated. Fatima was also very quick to respond!

Perfect weekend!

Fatima was a wonderful, welcoming and thoughtful host. When we ran out of dishwasher pods she immediately brought us more. The house is beautiful and the backyard pool is a dream! An oasis of calm and so well maintained. Smart TVs in nearly every room, tons of fun games, plenty of room for our group. Less than 10 minutes from Ashbury boardwalk, which was so much fun.

Beautiful home & backyard

Our group loved this house. Extremely well appointed, comfortable accommodations, and we loved the back yard. The pool was clean and Fatima had plenty of floats and towels for us to use. She was very responsive and helpful before, during and after our stay. Highly recommended!

Not a smooth checkin

We were offered to check in early for an additional fee which we declined and thank god we did as we’re not about to get into the house until 330 ( check in is supposed to be at 3) which I didn’t mind but even then the house was not ready. The owner did not leave until 445. With that the owner did offer us to stay on Sunday for the day but as this was a weekend trip and we had to all leave Sunday morning. Beautiful backyard and the house was nicely decorated!

Not worth the headache

Beautiful home but not worth the headache. I rented this home for a family member’s birthday on Memorial Day weekend. Upon check-in, we found multiple cameras on the interior and exterior of the home that were never disclosed to us, and disconnected the interior ones for obvious privacy reasons. On arrival, we had two strange men come to the door asking for the owner. We felt uncomfortable and violated. At the end of our stay, the owner called us screaming that we unplugged her cameras and informed us she had taken illegal recordings of us during our walkthrough and phone call and had used her neighbor’s cameras to gather footage of our family gathering. We paid $600 in guest and cleaning fees but on arrival, the garbages were half full and the owner later accused us of leaving garbage outside the bins. The umbrellas outside were left open, and it stormed as soon as we got there, so they flew away into the pool. The owner once again tried to blame us for her umbrellas being moved. The owner had told us we would have a grill, but the propane tank was empty and we had to go to the store on Memorial Day weekend to not only find a tank (which was nearly impossible to do and wasted nearly half the day) but also pay for it with our own money. The stairs in the back were so slippery that all my guests and myself slipped and fell down MULTIPLE times. The fridge was left half full so we had to leave some of our food out. When trying to discuss our concerns with the owner, she was aggressive and hostile with her tone. I’ve rented homes before and never had such a horrific experience. Would have had better experience and better customer service at a motel by the beach.
