Good for quick river trip. Enjoyed the patio area and east walk for a sit in the river. Place had so many accessories for mixing drinks and such.

Overall had a great trip Pros: loved the river access, outdoor green space, and balcony. Very close to town. Very communicative management company. Close to town. The condo was clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We loved the scenery, pool, and easy river access. The only downfall was we were unable to use the living room TV because the Spectrum box was not working and we were not informed that we had to be present when the tech arrived. We will definitely come back to stay and use New Braunfels Escapes!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at "Slice of Heaven"! We love it so much this is our second year staying at this unit with plans to return in the future! The unit is just as described/pictured and the location is very ideal! It is conveniently located on the first floor (not ideal for those who can't tolerate noisy upstairs neighbors lol) and the porch area overlooks the back of the property. New Braunsfels Escapes was great with communications and sent follow up text prior to arrival and reminders at departure. I would highly recommend Slice of Heaven as well as New Braunsfels Escapes.

Coffee maker was a regular drip style so bring your own ground coffee (they provided filters). We did have an incident where the shower curtain fell off while we were sleeping, waking us up and forcing the bathroom closed so that we were locked out for a bit, but we eventually managed to move it and put it back up lol. We utilized both pools and hot tubs which was really nice to have. We even added an extra day!The proximity to Schlitterbahn can’t be beat, so close! My only complaint was that they made us drive across town to pick up the key code and parking passes. This really seems like something they could have sent over an email and left the parking passes inside for us to fill out. It was an additional hassle after driving for hours from Houston
