The house itself was nice. For the small footprint, it felt like there was a decent amount of space - three bedrooms, living room with a large dining table and sunroom. The one (very small) bath was tight for our family of four, but also understandable with a house this size. The hot tub was a nice perk. Location-wise, it was close to the core/downtown New Buffalo - only a 10 minute-ish walk away - BUT the walk is on the main busy street (Buffalo). I read reviews prior to booking that mentioned this and thought 'oh, that's not that big of a deal', but it's like walking along a small highway. With my small kids, it didn't feel safe and we mostly had to drive 2 minutes to get downtown for food, etc. I'm going to be looking for a different location for my next stay for that reason alone. The only other note I have is that I asked the property owner (group) a question before our stay and never heard a peep back.
