Lovely room, well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great for getting around and eating out. We travelled with our daughter and it was great that they offered to upgrade our room free of charge to one with two beds rather than the pull out bed. The one star has been taken off because we are still waiting for a refund on the holding deposit we seem to have been charged. We were asked for a card on arrival for incidentals. Not sure why $100 has still not been refunded as my invoice confirmed no extra charges, but we've had no response to our query. Other hotels we've stayed in on our trip have refunded the holding deposit immediately.

I've never been charged for parking for a hotel that literally is surrounded by a parking lot. It's like being charged extra to park at a grocery store. It also was not disclosed on expedia Also, next door to a dairy processing plant. Fairly noisy

We're from Troy, NY and this is a convenient getaway. The Hotel is wonderful for a much need decompression from the stresses of home. Close to everything, convenient, and cost effective. When ever i head to New Haven you can be assured i am this is where I am staying.This trip we got into town around 4pm, checked in got settled, then hit Bar for pizza and drinks before walking down to Cafe Nine for a great live show. All in all a much needed excursion.

Hotel was clean, staff was generally friendly and helpful. My room, however, was adjacent to a club – I might have well been in the club. It did not close until late, which made sleeping before 1 AM nearly impossible. The television in my room was also broken.

Hotel was suitable for my needs. No restaurant on site but they have a nice sundries area with many options. Staff was competent and friendly. The area is walkable and very near the Yale old campus. I was disappointed that I was not offered either of the VIP amenities as that was part of the reason I selected the hotel.
