Very comfortable and reliably pleasant hotel that could use a cosmetic upgrade- it’s not lovely, but it’s a great place to stay and the parking is easy. The food for sale in the lobby is absurdly expensive. But the room and parking were good value.

Great location

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and it was situated in an ideal location. The garage parking is connected to the hotel for easy access and commute. Overall, a great stay for a night in downtown New Haven.

Dishonest…

Upon arrival we entered a nice large room on a high floor, unfortunately it had a really terrible smell of body odor. The front desk was very kind and offered to move our room and comp our parking. Our new room was on a low floor and tiny compared to the first room, but clean with a good smell. Unfortunately next door smoked a lot of marijuana which bleed into our room but we just decided to stay as it was only one night. I believe this is a no smoking facility. Despite the hotel making the offer to remove the parking charge, they still charged it, will not return my emails on the subject, said they would call me back after calling the front desk and have not returned my call. Hotel is nice but if you’re looking for an honest place this is not it. The parking is not even that much but on principle I can not recommend staying here.
