When we booked a room on Expedia that didnât match rooms the hotel currently had available, the staff was more than accommodating to make sure our stay was still enjoyable. Centrally located between the shops and market on Decatur for daytime roaming and the night life of bourbon st. Parking is limited but we stayed when it wasnât that busy and had no issue parking in the provided garage about an 8 min walk from the hotel. Just a basic place to sleep with no frills which was all we needed. We didnât come to NOLA for hotel breakfast or hanging out at a pool anyway. Would stay here again!
Just a very old hotel very small room dirty only gave two towels for two people for two days Iâm sure it might be ok but not for me $150 more in that area much better hotel for the $$$$$
hotel was close so able walk to everything, beds were good and staff was friendly. Parking was not good as their lot âwas fullâ so we had to park on street.
It is on a quiet edge of the french Quarter.
Unusually for the area, it has private parking in a locked garage about 5 minutes walk away.
I think we were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. The room was fine, not terribly big, but the balcony was an absolute delight! Covered; on 2nd floor (3rd in USA); great view down street; sun morning and evening.
All staff on desk very friendly.
The customer service and location are the biggest selling points to this hotel. The rooms are just ok and really in need of major renovation. If they do that this place is really going to be a great stay.
Super friendly desk staff. This place is dated and old dirty.. Our air conditioner had a build up of black mold in it. I would have traded properties if we could have. Nice area but I would not return here.
Great location, Nice front desk personnel, unfortunately the cleaning crew are not doing a good job, it was dusty, the walls need cleaning and painting, the AC was loud, The parking is not onsite, its a short 10 min walk, which is not too bad, sorry but I can't recommend this property.
This property may have been nice at some point, but is very run down now. Carpeting is nasty and it hasn't been painted in years. The only positive thing I can say is the bed and A/C were good.
Employees were great. Parking is a few blocks away but very secure. Room was available early. Garden 1st floor room was a perfect location only issue was smoking in the courtyard. Amenities are ice machine, vending machine and coffee in the lobby. Cute breakfast place across the street. Room had two chairs a table a dresser and a comfy queen bed. Sink was outside the bathroom. AC worked well. Towels were nice and changed out each day. Mini fridge worked well and was quiet. Short walk to Frenchmen and Bourbon St.
Hotel smell like roach spray.Wife was getting sick, had to relocate. No Parking available, move to another hotel that was more comfortable, valet parking was available.Had a restaurant with great food and service connected next door.Left keys on the front desk.If the hotel manager had any morales, since the room was not used, she would not go thu with the payment.
Location was excellent and very easily walkable to the busy areas, yet quiet and relaxed at the hotel. Parking worked out for us, but do not count on having it available - very few spots. Rooms are not accessible for anyone that cannot do steps (our room in a back corner of second floor required steps even with elevator use). Room was large and plenty comfy. The bathroom was very good, with a very deep tub. Loved the hotel overall!
