This gorgeous, pet-friendly home features fantastic outdoor living areas, a spacious interior, a private canal, pier & boathouse, and direct Lake Catherine access. Beautifully styled + equipped with kayaks, fishing & crabbing gear, the property is ideal for families or friends traveling together. Step in, drop your luggage, and be on the water in under 5 minutes–it doesn’t get any better than this!

Island Girl is a beautiful lakefront home just 30minutes from the heart of New Orleans that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The residence boasts a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and convenient bar seating that seamlessly transitions to the dining and living areas. Guests will love this social space’s hardwood floors and large windows that take full advantage of the breathtaking lake views. French doors offer quick access to the home’s wrap-around deck where there is a dining table, gas grill, and more of those amazing Lake Catherine views.

Down the hall, each of our 3 bedrooms is impeccably styled with soothing, modern finishes that immediately relax the senses, sleeping configurations as follows:

The home’s 2 full bathrooms are modern and bright with shower/tub combos that make bathing the kiddos after a day on the lake a breeze.

Outdoor living is unparalleled at Island Girl with Lake Catherine as your backyard and endless views for scenery! In addition to the upper wrap around deck, the lower-level houses private parking, a picnic table, and all the gear you need for enjoying the lake including 4 kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, and crab traps. When it’s time to get out on the water, simply launch the kayaks directly from our shoreline into the private canal or walk down our dock to the boathouse for fishing and crabbing in the shade.

Bringing your own boat? Easy – launch it at Island Marina just down the road then drive along the shoreline to our boathouse where you can tie off. And they don’t call this area fisherman’s paradise for nothing! We also have great recommendations for local, professional fishing guides to maximize your sporting time on the water. Be sure to inquire if you are interested.
