The property itself is great, but the house and amenities are very blah and underwhelming. We had a group of 12 guys stay at this property in early Feb, 2026 for a golf trip. Yes, the house had the amount of beds we needed and the appropriate amount of bathrooms and technically it had seating for this many people, but the house wasn't comfortable at all. The couch in the living room was about as uncomfortable as you can imagine (not as described "Take a seat on the comfortable sofa"). The couch fit about six people leaving only three metal, backless stools for the other six. Half of our group just sat on the floor to watch tv.The dining room ("...gorgeous dining area") was super sterile and uncomfortable and did not feel apart of the living room meaning you couldn't get 12 guys to feel like we were all together.The property description also says "The interior is touched by beautiful furnishings"... not so much. This place felt like an upgraded college house run by dudes with no clue how to make a house warm and comfortable.The pool... yeesh. The property description goes to lengths to let us know that the pool is heated and the separate "tub" is NOT a hot tub with jets. In reality, the pool, while it does have some heat to it, is NOT comfortable at all. On our stay, the pool was cold the entire time. Apparently the pool does not stay at a consistent heat and varies a TON overnight so don't think about swimming in the morning/early afternoon.Stay somewhere else

We had a great stay at this property! The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our large group. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and everything was well-maintained. We had a great time in the pool. The host, Chris, was professional, friendly, and very responsive, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The enclosed screened in pool was an absolute necessity with the flordia bugs. The host was amazing to work with and was very accomodating. We will be booking this property again for future family vacations!

Spacious Home but some important considerations

We recently stayed at Lakeview House and overall had an enjoyable visit. The home is spacious with plenty of beds for a large group, and check-in was simple. The pool area was the highlight—we spent most of our time outside enjoying it.That said, here are a few things future guests should know:‱ Supplies & Amenities: Towels were very limited, and bathrooms had little to no toiletries. We made a store run for toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent. Bring your own to be safe.‱ Kitchen: The kitchen was generally stocked, but the cookware was very worn. The nonstick pots and pans were scratched and peeling, so we bought new ones for the stay.‱ Cleanliness: The home was surface-clean but needs a deep clean. We found trash and dust under beds and couches, and moldy pool floats were left outside. There’s a strong mothball smell throughout that sticks to clothes, plus plug-in air fresheners in every room—worth noting if you’re sensitive to scents.‱ Outdoor Comfort: The pool is great, but there are few chairs or loungers, which made it tough for our group to relax together.‱ Security & Water Issues: The alarm went off repeatedly until we were told to disconnect it. On our last night, the water stopped working entirely through checkout—no toilets, sinks, or showers. It couldn’t be fixed due to the holiday. A very small refund was offered, but it impacted our stay.‱ All propane tanks were empty, we had to refill them ourselves to use the grill & fire pit table

Not what we expected

We came for a family reunion to be close to the VA where my husband lives. We had family come from all over Florida and then from out of state. The space was fine and what we needed but there were accommodations that we expected to have that were not as stated. The grill is NOT functional. In fact would be very dangerous and needs to be replaced or maintained. The spa or hot tub has no instructions and we were unable to figure out how to get it working. The space was fine but not up to cleanliness standards and I don’t believe our standards to be very high. There are game systems or parts of games that aren’t even able to be played or used for the great grandkids. The intake for air conditioning is filthy and needed to be changed long ago. There are minor things such as doors on hinges and flooring having spaces that aren’t really issues but should be maintained. It suited our needs but some things need to be addressed by the management.

Great Spot for hosting a large group

We booked this Vrbo for a large group, and the space itself was great—plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The pool was a highlight and got a lot of use, though it could’ve used some patio furniture to make the area more comfortable. Unfortunately, the place was dirty when we arrived, with press-on nails scattered on the floor and tobacco pouches left around, which wasn’t a great first impression. The beds were also not clean, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the bathrooms were spotless, and the property had some fantastic amenities: TVs throughout, a grill, an outdoor fireplace, a game room that kept the kids entertained, and even a nursery for the little ones. We were bummed about the lack of an ice maker, and the dishwasher didn’t work, which added some inconvenience. Overall, aside from the cleanliness issues, this was an excellent spot for a group stay—lots of potential and great features to enjoy.

Great Experience for Family Reunion

Comfortably held two families with more visiting during daytime. Great layout, kitchen and pool. We all loved it! Host was wonderful. We are planning on renting this again soon.

Overall the stay was really good. The only exception was that the hot tub was not working and the pool was in need of chlorine tablets. It was raining off and on so the pool wasn't that big of a deal But my guests didnt feel comfortable getting in the water because it didn't look safe. I'm sure the owner has corrected that by now though. Everything else was fine during our stay.

Amazing Location

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. This expansive home is beautiful! Our large family was able to enjoy each others company without being on top of one another. We used it for our family’s celebration of my daughters graduation. There’s plenty of room. The house is clean and up to date. Chris was very responsive to our questions and communicated all throughout the process leading up to our stay. Restaurants and stores are nearby and the locals are very friendly. I definitely recommend this place 100%.
