Just as described

This unit was a great fit for our family! Unit was great! Plenty of space for us to move around! Easy across the street access to the beach and access to two pools! There’s a closet full of beach supplies and a few board games to play! Only a few issues with the unit, it wasn’t really cleaned when we got there. Counters were sticky and still had rice from previous tenants on the counter. As well as some food/drinks in the fridge that needed to be tossed out. This seems more like the cleaning company than the owners. I would also like to mention that the unit still uses a key which made us a little uneasy as any previous tenant could have made a copy of the key and come in at any time. The world is a crazy place and I would much rather have a unit that changes a code with every visit instead of using a key. Call me an over paranoid mom but when I am traveling with 4 teenagers daughters, I’d rather be safe than sorry.

So much to do

The condo looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were lots of bath and beach towels. Although we didn’t use all the amenities on site, we were very impressed with what was available. Definitely a good place for teenagers. Our unit had chairs, wagon, and sand toys for the beach so no need to bring those along. We would return to this site for future vacations and would also consider purchasing. We had a problem with ants on the last day but the staff was very responsive.

Accurate Listing

I was pleased with our stay based on the accuracy of the listing. The apartment was a bit beat up in spots, showing its age, but overall was very clean upon entry and served our purposes wonderfully. This was our first time staying across the street and not on beachfront and it worked out lovely. We loved the two pools, especially knowing we could get in a hot tub on cloudy/cool days. We used the tennis courts, walking trails, bocce ball, and basketball.

3 bedroom condo

Beautiful kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall great stay, but blinds in living room would not close and master bedroom sliding doors did not lock. Loved the pool, the nature walk, how close the beach was, also the garage. Had a great time.

Great place, great location

This was an amazing trip. The location is actually really great. We were worried about having to walk to the beach, but with the street crosswalk and the path to the beach, it was very easy to get there - about 5 to 10 minutes of walking. Two pools! Yes, two! Both pools were excellent and perfect temp. Also, they are both, as far a we could tell, saltwater pools. The beach is perfect. Not very crowded and really soft, nice sand. The only issue we had was with the instructions on what to do when we got there. First, we didn't realize you have to take a pool pass with you to the pools. The pass says "Guest Pass" on it. The leasing company did not let us know to bring this with us to the pool. We also didn't understand the key labeled "outdoor storage." We discovered, in talking with some of the other tenants that this key opened a storage area by the elevator. Inside? All sorts of beach stuff. Again, not mentioned by Great Ocean Condos. Next, there was a closet in the unit, that had even more beach/pool stuff - didn't find this until our last day! We also had two issues in the unit. The second bathroom had a very, very slow drain. So slow, that some of our party did not want to shower there. I let the renter know, but never heard back from them. Last, the bass of the blender was cracked and the blender was unusable - also mentioned to Great Oceans, and they did not address this. Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed, but I may be looking for a different company to rent through.

Everything was as pictured. Beautiful condo and property. Except for dishrags, Extremely well stocked with linens, towels, pillows, table placemats, beach chairs and other beach items. Oh and hangers! Kitchen had everything needed, except for a garlic press, to cook your own gourmet meals. Gas Grills were available and close by. Wonderful having table on balcony to enjoy outdoor meals. The main balcony faces NW so if you don’t get much sun. Afternoon sun does hit back deck, however, and you do get some sun on main deck in the late afternoon. Walk to beach is easy. We absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend. Only complaint were the bright bedrooms at night. Many lights on building that bedrooms face and the existing blinds do a lousy job of filtering the light out
especially since most don’t work very well.
