Beware-TINY rooms! Even for NYC! Pros: location, comfy bed, blackout blinds, staff, vibe, bar. Cons: janky elevators, micro sized rooms with mobile unit bathrooms, shortage of towels, nowhere for your luggage, sink by the bed. If you wish to hearken back to your backpacking through Europe days, but at +$500/night, this is the place for you. But if you typically make a spectacle of brushing your teeth, this is not the place. If you need your privacy for bathroom time lol, go to the hotel bathroom. If your husband is 6’4”, this also may not be the place for you. If you have luggage of any size, this is not the place for you. If you don’t like bunk beds, this is not the place for you. This is a vibey, European-style hotel. We are in our 50’s, so we prefer comfort and are willing to pay for it. For almost $600/night, this was not a good value for us.

Hotel is in a brilliant location for access to Times square, Broadway etc. Spotless hotel and rooms, everything you could need. Staff were fantastic, so helpful, courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

The Citizen M hotel was great! The room, common areas and decks were always well maintained. The staff were always with smiles and went out of their ways to ensure you were having a great time. The buffet was more than expected and the barista was awesome. The bar upstairs was awesome. The bar and mezzanine both have wonderful views of Time Square. I will always use them.
