The staff was very friendly on arrival. Our suite was on the 3rd floor. When we stepped out of the elevator, the carpet looked so dirty and dusty, and had a big brown stain right by the elevator. Our room looked clean. While the main bedroom area looked more or less renovated, the bathroom was so old and looked yellow with chipped paint. We attempted to take a shower, and when I pressed the shower knob, the faucet parts came out flying from the faucet and the top of the knob came out. Unfortunately, we had to leave and never got to shower. When I went downstairs to check out, I reported to them the problem. There was mention of the apology, they asked for our Hilton Honers account and told me “you are all set to go”. No that I expected them to refund my stay, but a simple i’m sorry for inconvenience would have been enough. No points added on Hilton Honors either. Not going to use them again.
