Don’t do it!

The hotel is ok for a Holiday Inn in Manhattan, but the front entrance is considered a public park/area. Nothing but people smoking weed and visibly having drug withdrawals. I do not recommend this hotel location or will ever stay there again. It’s a disaster. The police had to show up, but limited in what they can do. If you don’t mind those things then by all means enjoy!

The location is good for those who want to do the Time Square, first time in NYC experience. It being close to both Port Authority and Penn Station makes it a good spot for quick stays. Just two very minor criticisms. The hotel only has two elevators. For a building that size there really should be at least one more. The public area in front of the property can get pretty full of people hanging around all day and night. Might make some people uncomfortable or nervous. They’re harmless though.

Horrible property. I normally don’t leave bad reviews. But this was horrible. The water from the sink, toilet and shower was dark yellow. It looked like urine coming out. The TV didn’t work and kept loosing signal. And outside the hotel at night was a hang out spot for a lot of homeless and locals smoking weed. Only positive thing was we had a great viewing of the Empire State Building. But I would never stay here again unfortunately.

The rooms and staff are fine but the hotel is setback from the sidewalk and there is a small courtyard that leads into the hotel. It is open to the public and seems to attrack an iffy crowd and trash, especially at night. In addition, this hotel has a small lobby but is also popular with tour groups so the lobby and elevators get jammed.

Overall experience is very good with front desk and house keeping services. But lot of people sitting and smokeing just in front of the hotel and it made a very bad experience when we enter and exit the hotel.
