Such a comfrotable stay!

We were pleasantly surprized about the large size of the room and closets! The terrace was a bonus to enjoy and this place is ideally located. Walkable to GCT and just a few blocks away from 2 subway stops. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If we go back to NYC we'd be booking here again at Hotel 57!

This hotel is not the four seasons. It is an AMAZING deal for the money. Big rooms (bigger than five star basic room options at 5x price) sheets and bed clean and comfortable. Bathrooms much nicer than budget hotel options. This is an excellent budget option.

Basic, outdated but large rooms for New York

Rooms were pretty dated but a decent size for New York. Convenient location on 57th and Lexington with easy access to Subway. Ice machine on our floor was broken when we arrived and still broken when we left 6 days later. tried to charge USD40 per day when we checked out, which was explained as a sort of facilities fee? we were not advised of this at any part of booking so refused to pay, aparently this has been in place for bookings made after April, we booked before so they waived the fee. Rooms do need updating and a few little things that could make a difference- tissue box had 1 tissue in it and was never refilled during stay. no water provided in room or to buy in hotel. rooftop terrace has no chairs or furniture up there which could make a really nice area. dinning area not in use at rear of hotel again this could be made into a really nice area for guests, maybe even with a couple of vending machines with juice water snacks? Staff very friendly and wiling to help, its just the little things that would make a difference.
