Solid Nights’ Sleep in Manhattan

Hotel Indigo exceeded my expectations in all the areas that are nonnegotiable for me: quiet, comfortable bed, good shower, ability to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. It’s not always easy to get a great night’s sleep in Manhattan, but the Indigo made that happen four nights in a row!

I am a reqards member and I was disappointed that there was no genersl microwave. We had food with us and could re heat it. Then someone walked in on me and my man which was crazy. Rhe BIGGEST issue is no Wi-Fi service on your phone. Even with the connection nobody was able to reach me.

Overall, my hotel experience was good. My room #1505 was clean and neat but the floor was cracked and sinking in a few spots. I didn’t make a a fuss because I was only staying for one night. I decided to check out the rooftop bar and ended up crashing a private birthday party where I left immediately. Awkward!! I wish the front desk would’ve made me aware that it wasn’t available. The lobby restaurant was amazing! We had a delicious breakfast! Our server Elias made us feel welcomed. I will definitely see him again. I’ll be back on July 4th so I’m hoping to get a better room and that I get to experience the rooftop bar in the proper way.

We got there at 2am and the room we paid for- balcony room- was not available.. they didn’t tell us.. we traveled to the 24th floor to open the door and find out. We went back down to be told we could talk to the manager in the morning. To say the room Is TINY is an understatement. I know It’s nyc- but be ready. It’s a king bed with walls.. expect nothing. There is a $30 night amenity fee. The lobby was DARK and there were times people were sleeping there- it’s a VERY small lobby. Aside from that- it’s mostly quiet- a/c worked great. Rooftop bar, although small, was a nice place to feel the breeze- go up to the top bar.. don’t stop at the first one. We won’t stay there again, but the location was good for where we needed to be.
