Lower East Side, Upper Echelons of Comfort & Convenience
Wonderful, very, very comfortable 'accommodation' in the terrific Lower East Side of NYC. Chris was most hospitable and communicative in a very timely manner. This could not have been a better vacation for both myself and my wife. We're actually considering staying here again! Thanks for everything...
Absolutely loved my two-week stay at this luminous, modern suite while overseeing my art installation in Manhattan. The space is beautifully appointedâsleek, serene, and perfectly situated in the heart of the vibrant Lower East Side. The private terrace, in-unit washer/dryer, and access to the rooftop deck with sweeping skyline views made it feel like a true sanctuary. What truly set this stay apart was the hostâs extraordinary kindness. He went out of his wayâlate at night and early in the morningâto ensure my smooth check-in when my bag was delayed, and throughout my stay, he responded promptly and graciously to every need. His thoughtful care made me feel deeply welcomed and supported.
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in Manhattan after running the Boston Marathon. We wanted to stay in an apartment away from the tourist hotspots as this was our 2nd visit to the city, but close enough to the subway to easily access the must see places. The F line on the subway closest to the apartment was great as it took us uptown and downtown in a couple of stops. The apartment was a great size for 2 travellers, washing machine and dryer, great sized kitchen, was very clean. The location was a little too far out of the way for us, even though the subway was a 12 minute walk, this is surprisingly quite a hike winding through many streets. The area is of concern, I personally didnât feel safe, we quickly worked out the safer streets to walk down. As referenced by another visitor the apartment was noisy as it backs on to a busy road which is frequently used by emergency service vehicles and many loud trucks and cars at all hours of the night.Overall the location was not for us but the apartment itself was great.
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this property and could not have been happier. The communication with Chris was great. A couple days before arrival he sent easy-to-follow instructions to enter the building, the apartment plus all of its amenities.Upon entering everything was spotless and just as lovely as pictured. Modern, spacious, clean and bright. The kitchen was well-equipped with Bosch appliances and everything we needed was there and more. The living room had floor to ceiling windows and a balcony where you could sit and watch all of the action around you. The blackout shades worked well in the bedroom and kept the room nice and dark for sleeping. The bathroom was modern, fresh and nicely appointed as well. We loved all the different lamps and lighting with dimmers in all of the rooms.Although the apartment was exceptional, the rooftop was our favorite spot for before/after dinner drinks. AMAZING 360-degree views of the NYC skyline plus a firepit, several different sitting areas, a putting green and gas grills. The top floor of the building also had a "party room" with TVs, pool table and a fireplace. My husband took advantage of the gym in the building as well.We walked everywhere and thoroughly explored the area. It is located near restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, parks and the East River. Make sure you take a walk through the various resident-maintained parks/gardens nearby.Do not hesitate to book this property...it's perfection!!
This was an awesome stay. Spacious, clean, and modern - and the location was perfect. Chris was very communicative and I had zero issues throughout ms stay. Will definitely be staying again in the future.
Very comfortable apartment in a lovely building and a fun neighborhood. We would be very happy to stay there again any time- we always prefer staying downtown and this was our first opportunity on ave c- loved it!
Beautiful apartment, clean and convenient to many sites in the Lower East Side. Very secure building. Lovely bathroom and full kitchen. Great communication from the owner. Higher noise level some nights (from the street, not from other apartments in the building) is just part of staying NYC and to be expected (bring earplugs!).Overall a good base for exploring lower Manhattan.
Great location for food and bars. Easy to find and access. Everything you need and no extra clutter. Nice little patio with view of the bridge and top of Empire State Building. Loved it. Thanks
We stayed in this cozy apartment over Thanksgiving week and thoroughly enjoyed its hominess and convenience. Will definitely stay again as our son lives nearby. Super clean and has all the amenities for laundry, cooking and entertainment!
We had a fabulous 5 nights in this property. Communication with Chris was great from the beginning and he was always available with any query. There was a slight mix up at the beginning but Chris was on it and we were able to drop our luggage and go explore so no issue. The apartment has everything you need, the bed is extremely comfortable, the space of a kitchen and lounge makes you want to come back to it after a long day exploring. It is a real home away from home. Transport links a few minutes away or else the best way to see this city is to just walk. There is so much more freedom for staying in an apartment than a hotel and I would highly recommend this one.
Really great apartment in NYC. We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and just as pictured. The amenities of the building were great, especially the rooftop terrace. Communication with the host was top notch. Would definitely recommend!
The apartment and building were great, and the host was great to work with and communicate with! Lovely clean building and apartment. Itâs a bit far from a subway station, but Citi bikes are right around the corner. We would definitely stay again.
