Very nice place, perfect location!

The apartment is really well located, clean, chic and surprisingly large! We needed help as the code wasn't working on arrival and a very friendly girl came over instantly! The building had a water problem on the first day (not the host's fault), we received bottles at no charge. Great service, thanks!

Lors de mon séjour, le host Emre était trÚs trÚs gentil et répondait rapidement aux messages. Veillant à ce que tout se passe bien du début jusqu'à la fin du séjour. Le loft est magnifique!! Je recommande à tout ceux qui ont une grande famille. C'est trÚs proche de toutes les destinations typiques de New York à pied ainsi que des garages pour se stationner. TrÚs beau logement!! Toute la famille a hùte d'y retourner!! Je recommande vraiment.

Starts off pretty bad. It’s after the check-in time and the entrance code doesn’t unlock the door. So I call and then text the owner and get no response. Another resident gives me the correct code and we finally get in. The first thing you notice is how dirty the windows are the floor mats are disgusting. Then notice there is only one roll of Toilet paper, no hand towels or wash rags or even paper towels and no tissues no coffee no tea. So, a part of our vacay is spent hiking to whole food for basic items that all rentals and hotels have. Then over the evening we learn there are 5 tv controllers and 4 of them do nothing and there is an overhead light we can’t turn off. Again I leave a message for the owner and get no response. Finally be advised the shower/tub is slippery as if it were oiled and the plumbing to the sink is reversed. Should I go on? There is no ice machine in the building and conveniently the are no ice trays provided for the freezer. So a week without ice. There are open live wires above the sink! And the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn’t work; so anything you or your partner does in the bathroom will waft throughout the apartment. Also it rained one night and both window leaked water puddles on the floor. Great location though. The red flame diner is a fantastic breakfast place.

Super cute loft, comfy bed, and amazing location. The sofa beds/futons for our kids weren’t the most comfortable, but teens can sleep anywhere. Bryant Park subway station is close and makes it easy to get wherever you want to go.

It’s an amazing location and the apartment is beautiful. It was advertised as a one bedroom but it’s a large studio. The host takes days to respond which is not convenient, and the couch had a broken leg so we were down a bed. Besides that we were happy with it and would stay there again.

Main living/sleeping area was nice. Bathroom and kitchen were really bare bones. Coffeemaker, but no coffee, dishwashing soap, but no sponge, towels, but nowhere to hang them. Would be nice to have at least had paper towels. Host was either slow to or didn’t respond to questions/messages.

Nice historic place with a lot of charm. This place really grew on us and had a nice, welcoming, vibe to it. Place was clean and management very responsive. The location was perfect for us with easy walking access to many sites and Grand Central Station.

Perfect location for Times Square

We were on the 12th floor just a couple blocks from Times Square, yet it was quiet. Felt spacious with high ceiling and terrific light from the very large windows. They close automatically if you prefer. The kitchen had a refrigerator (to keep your delicious leftovers, microwave coffee maker, coffee pot, and hot plate, so you could prepare a meal there if you wanted. Great air conditioning and working elevator, two very important things to have in NYC. It is a loft, so it's open space with a king bed and two foldout sofas. There were a few things missing from the kitchen, but I'm sure if we had asked for them the manager would produce them. I'd stay here, again.

Loved the location and the vibe the place had. Nice place to stay. It felt classy.This was our 2nd visit to NYC. Last time we had to Uber to our destinations which can get a little pricey. This time we wanted to be in the middle of it all, so we splurged and found this jewel! This place did not disappoint!Previous reviews stated disposable coffee cups were hard to drink out of (thinner than the average cup), so we brought our own.PRO:Easy check-in/out. Nice pillows and bedding.Very relaxing place. We felt safe walking back to the Aparthotel when we came in late. Very comfortable for a couple of friends to chill after long days in NYC. We didn’t find the area noisy at all, brought a noise machine just in case. (Might have been too tired to care.) It had a blow dryer. CONS:Towels: Originally had 3 people going but ended up being just 2. Bathroom had 2 towels and 1 hand towel and no washcloths at all.Door keypad: The last night of our stay the keypad decided to let us know something was wrong starting around 4am. Wasn’t speaking English so we had no clue what it was trying to tell us
guessing low battery. It woke us up a little earlier than our plan. ;/Great memories!!!!

Nice property but lacks amenities

The apartment itself fine. Location is good. However, lacks certain amenities. No hairdryer even though it was included in VRBO description. Manager did not respond to request for one. No wash cloths and only one hand towel. Kitchen is bare minimum. Don’t plan to do much cooking! No coffee cups so we ended up drinking out of bowls. Did manage breakfast with what was there but don’t plan on anything more complicated. Would be easy to add these items at minimal cost. Building itself was fine. Good security.

Great location

Overall our stay was good. The location is central to a lot of prime tourist spots. Apartment was clean and very well decorated. A few recommendations to make the place more user friendly would be to add some coats hooks in main room and hooks in the bathroom for towels etc. we had to hang our towels on bar stools to dry after showering. There was also no blow dryer in apartment but that was listed in description. One last thing was we didn’t get an email with our door code, only the front door code. Thankfully there was someone sitting at the front desk to give us that information. But that was the only time we ever saw anyone sitting at desk so maybe we just got lucky.

Convenient and spacious

PROS: Great location - 5 min walk from Grand Central Station subway access and 6 min walk to Broadway, 5th Ave & time square. Check- in was easy (we were allowed an early check-in at 11:00am). Code to get into building for added security. Apartment door itself had code as well - wish deadbolt would have worked on door, but no real security concerns. Surrounding tenants were quiet. Comfortable main bed. Nice mini fridge in kitchen. Functional and clean bathroom. Good temperature/heat for Feb trip.CONS: I was a little disappointed with the "sleeps 5" description. We were traveling as a family of 5 (2 parents/3 teenagers) and neither of the two couches that folded down into futons were big enough to accommodate two people reasonably. Therefore, we had to have our third teenager sleep on the extra couch that did not fold down. Bedding was my main complaint. There was one flat sheet and one thin blanket for each futon/couch. Would have liked two sheets so we could put one down on the futon/couch surface and have one to cover with, followed by blanket; bedding all seemed a little ragged looking. Nothing screamed "I'm dirty", but yet I think it could all use an upgrade to give a better overall feeling of cleanliness. Pillows - only a flimsy case exposing worn/discolored pillows - please invest in pillow protectors! Consider providing paper towel or coffee in kitchen and more than two towels for a family of 5!Overall, despite critiques, I would recommend this stay.
