the hotel is in a perfect spot in the heart of Times Square. Rooms are decent but small which is expected in some of these old buildings. But perfect for what i needed, a place to sleep while sightseeing. Would stay again as the price was good compared to other hotels in the area.

Nice hotel in Times Square. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, noticed staining on the walls and carpets. The location is very noisy as it's right in Times Square, they provide free earplugs and blackout curtains so you can get some rest. Overall I would recommend and stay again, price is fair for the area. Also, the Subway has several stops within a couple minutes walk of the hotel.

The property overall is average. However, we left a night early because the bed was a cheap mattress (no box spring) on a metal, squeaky, shaky cot with worn out springs. Reminded me of when I was a kid and had to sleep on the pull-out couch . . . but that was better than this . . .

I liked where the hotel is for convenience of time square and other shopping stores and restaurants but the beds where supper uncomfortable and to go in the hotel and still have to pay an additional $50 dollars per night when I already paid, I understand the $100 deposit but the additional $50 is not understanding. Will not be staying there again.

Worth a short stay.

Very loud and do not have sound proof windows. Quite nice just for a place to stay while in the city but do not expect list of amenities.

Just a place to sleep. Room and beds are tiny. Vents were clvered in dust. Window was facing a dirty dark wall. Shower would not drain. Had to turn off after mere seconds of it running to make sure it did not overfliw out. Also the shower basin had black mildew in every corner. All the fun lobby fruniture from the photos were stained and overly worn in. The property overall reflected noticable wear and tear. Sadness.

The property is dated. There was dirty grout and soap scum in the shower. There was duct tape on the windows. It is very loud because it is close to Times Square and the windows are not dual paned. Do not stay here.

Celebrities across the st experience

Great experience. The Hotel is literally 50 steps away the red stairs of Times square and 50 steps away to the subway station. All the staff were super attentive and polite. The room is small indeed but enough for me and my niece. Plus, we spend all days walking outside that we barely used the room. We had a great time and were able to see actors Kieran Culkin and Bob Odenkirk signing autographs literally outside our window. They ask for a deposit of $100 per night on top of your hotel fare, but as soon as you check out you get it back.

I have never left a poor review. On the positive the staff were fantastic and the lobby is beautiful. Our room was disappointing there was hair on and in the bed and in the shower. The room was very damaged holes in the wall and broken tiles all through the shower, doors to the room and bathroom not closing properly, the door lock didn’t work, the charging port didn’t work and the lift door was extremely dirty for the duration of our stay (2 nights). The property description notes it has environmentally friendly coffee cups, straws, stirrers etc and twice notes family friendly laundry facilities however the property does not provide tea and coffee in the rooms or common areas and does not have laundry facilities but does charge a resort fee basically for nothing. Workers started jack hammering the footpath at about 5.30am which is not the fault of the hotel but you would think they would arrange for the works to start at a more appropriate time of the morning. Overall this is the first hotel I would not recommend or stay again & we travel extensively every year.

I don’t want to shame anyone but my room was so awful that I almost cried upon arriving after a long trip. The rating is misleading. This is the barest bones hotel and it is more of a motel condition. There was a condom wrapper under the drawers and I found stains on the cover. There was also hair on every inch of the sheets/covers. I didn’t stop finding hair. The towels were thin and frayed/shredded so badly at the ends. The thermostat didn’t work, and I was freezing during the chilly NYC nights. I slept with all my clothes from my luggage layered on top of my for warmth. The top blanket looks more like a thick sheet. The bathroom is warn along with every other part of the room. To be honest, I didn’t want to walk barefoot in the room, I felt my feet were too clean for it. The shower water temperature was lukewarm. No coffee maker, but probably would be wary of using it anyway given the room condition. There were elevator attendants and staff were friendly upon checkin/checkout. You have to use keycards to access the elevator which is a positive for security. The elevator fits max 2 people. The street noise made it so hard to sleep, as it is steps away from Times Square. If you’re going to be going to bed at 1-2am then this would be less of an issue for you. Overall, cleanliness alone, I would never stay here again and wouldn’t have stayed here in the first place if it had been properly represented.
