Lively area, it felt safe and everything was accessible. Common areas of the hotel were clean, modern and comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was on most of the time as it was so humid, but it was really noisy. It’s loud enough to stop you sleeping.

Broken shower & no help = big disappointment

My shower was broken & the front desk staff did not offer any sort of compensation to remedy the situation. I had to leave to head to the airport and they basically said “oops, sorry. Nothing we can do!”

I have lived near this hotel for years and frequent the bars. I finally stayed there and the service was terrible. Few amenities. Gym is laughable. Took three phone calls and an hour to get a toothbrush. They have so many items for sale in the room it looks like a rummage sale. Resort charge is for nothing. Increasingly typical commodified rip off no service American culture. Very rude new door ppl at the bars (and I have probably been to club room 40-50 times). Price isn’t bad for New York but you’re really only paying for a good location while the bar seems increasingly overwhelmed by bridge and tunnel.
