I've stayed at this hotel four times in the past year, since discovering it last year. I love this hotel! It is grand and gracious, the rooms are huge, the bathroom is marble and gorgeous, the staff is great - so friendly! The location is absolutely perfect: walking distance from theaters, from Lincoln Center, great restaurants, shopping.

Our stay at the Michelangelo was perfect. They got us checked into our rooms early and the staff was so kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean and beautiful. It was in walking distance to absolutely everything. I would love to go back someday!

I liked the people; all the staff was nice. We weren't able to get in our room early and it was raining in NYC, so we had to go walk around. Most hotels will let you in early. They didn't call us to let us know our room was ready. No coffee in the rooms. No convenient plugs next to bed for phones. The decor is extremely outdated and the furniture in the rooms is outdated. The hotel was clean and spacious, but I do not think it's worth the price especially no breakfast included.

Like stepping back in time at this traditional hotel. Great staff, lovely room and affordable amenities in the room. Fantastic location as well. All in all 5* hotel without having to pay silly money.

Our first stay at the Michelangelo Hotel and we were mightily impressed. The cleaning personnel were the most accommodating and friendly people we’ve ever encountered in a midtown hotel. The lobby was peaceful with only short waits at the front desk. The location for shopping, walking, theaters and Times Square rate at the top! We were cancelled at our go-to hotel due to renovations - but we now have a new go-to. Thank you Michelangelo Hotel!
