Not the worst, but absolutely not the best stay. As a former new yorker (Brooklyn), this hotel was decent but not worth the price point. I’d probably stay again if the rates are lower, but would consider this among my last resorts…
Check in was pretty quick. Front desk person was pretty short. I booked a junior suite, which is like the size of a standard room in every other state, but for location, it was a good size & the layout was nice. Unfortunately, the room was a bit worn and not as clean and kempt as it initially appeared. Lots of black mold in bathroom, super wobbly coffee table, dirty pillows, random tape all over the wall near bed. They did nothing to resolve any of this. Housekeeping never came, I had to go down & ask several times & they had my room marked as clean.
I booked here specifically because my departing flight was later in the day and when I called prior to booking, they said I could book a day room to extend my stay beyond late checkout without paying for another night. This worked for me, so of course I booked immediately and made my way. When I confirmed with the front desk on day 2, I was told they’re “not booking day rooms at the moment.” I explained the info given to me prior to my stay and she insisted that I couldn’t do it. Very annoying because I could’ve booked another hotel for half the price had I known this would be an issue.
