I only had a glass of wine, medium size was charged £7.50, car parking £4.50, small bottle of water £3.75, debit card payment charged at £5. Not impressed, didn’t have or trust breakfast at £13.95. Wouldn’t stay again

A very professional, friendly and immaculately clean Family run business with a superb menu of fresh handmade pies and other local produce, the breakfast menu being one of the best I've been offered at accommodation in this price point. Best booked direct though. Will definitely return.

We were looking for a place to put down our heads for a night, after an wedding. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning. Such personal care and seevice has to be highly commended, would definitely recoomend this place and if ever in the area will be looking to stay here.

this is a 200 tear old listed building, but has been very thoughtfully designed ,to have everything one needs ,without losing the character of the building , as for dining the menu is and everything we tried on our limited stay was delicious , this is where i would stay if I ever came to Newark again .
