Disappointing Stay — Great Location but Not Worth

The hotel’s location near Penn Station is great, and we appreciated the early check-in. The airport shuttle was also efficient, and the driver was very nice. But overall, the stay was disappointing. The reception wasn’t welcoming, and our room for four only had two tiny beds, barely fitting one adult each. Noise from the street and neighboring rooms was constant, and smoke smells in the hallways were unpleasant. Housekeeping missed basics: they took used towels but didn’t replace them, and the conditioner container stayed empty for days. It also took about five minutes to reach someone at housekeeping or the front desk when we called. Considering the high price and no included breakfast, it really doesn’t feel like good value. Only stay here if location and early check-in are your top priorities.

A very nice well located property right outside Newark Penn Station! Room was very nice and big, allowing for a comfortable stay. Bonuses include an easy 30 min commute into right into the heart of new york world trade centre, and well connected with the Amtrack network. Only downsides were that my duvet decided to have fluff babies resulting in me waking up with face full of fluff. Also breakfast was a hearty $27 per person! Luckily there were many options at the stations allowing for great choices for food!

Very old property. Room was alright, but lobby etc was dirty and dull. After the reservation, one week before check-in, you will receive a mail indicating that they keep 70$ deposit per night when you check-in. Basic things like water bottle not in the room.

If you can get a new reasonable rate here, the location right next to Newark station means you can be in midtown or World Trade Center in 20-30 mins door to door. Room was big, clean and staff were professional.

Parking was 48$ a night , we booked a king but got 2 double room, the shower had hair in it prior to us entering it, and the door people were rude. Will never stay there again.
