Serenity by the water

The house was comfortable for three adults and extremely well outfitted. What we liked best is the closeness to the water, whether we were sitting outside on the deck or inside on a couch gazing out through huge windows. We will return!

Such a wonderful place to stay! Lots of windows looking out to the water and a beautiful deck over looking the water. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. It was super clean. Great location with easy access to the interstate to visit nearby towns. Would stay again.
Loved sitting on the deck watching the boats and the osprey.
Great food right down the road....a must!

Great waterside property

We stayed for graduation weekend and the house was perfect--lots of space, conveniently located near Brunswick, and very comfortable. The one bedroom that has a balcony (instead of a fourth wall) has an amazing view and great light. The screening for privacy made the space work as a third bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and the washer and dryer were very convenient on our second to last day. Our daughters even used the dock for a polar plunge (as it was May and still cold), but in the summer it would be lovely for swimming.

Wonderful getaway

The house was wonderful! The views were amazing. The house has everything you need. The hosts are very responsive. We stayed during a snow storm but no worries because the hosts were on top of snow removal. Excellent place to relax and spend time with friends.

Amazing Place

My husband and I, along with another couple, decided to stay here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This place was CLEAN and had BEAUTIFUL views. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax.

Perfect house, great location!

We’ve been coming to Harpswell for 10+ years as relatives live in town. We decided to rent a house this time around and this property was perfect. Dog friendly was a must - it’s well kept, has incredible views and is centrally located to Harpswell and Brunswick. House had a lovely deck and sunroom to enjoy coffee and enough space to have dinner either at the kitchen or dining room table. We briefly lost power (generator kicked on immediately) and reached out to Heather regarding the beeping alarm. She was quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. Would stay at this property again in a heartbeat!

Our Second Visit

We have used VRBO for many years, and no matter how much we like a place, we always want to try someplace different the next time. This is the only rental our family has returned to for a second stay. The house is just as immaculate and well kept as it looks in the photos. The setting is quiet and secluded, and the views from the deck are beautiful. The layout of the house is unique and architecturally interesting During this stay, we visited Bowdoin College Art Museum, The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, and walked the trails at different parks and conservation lands in Harpswell. Stop off at the Town Offices for a trail map to find your favorite places. Our favorite places to eat out were: J R Maxwell and Mae's Cafe, both in Bath; Richard's and Joshua's, both in Brunswick.

Wonderful spot on the coast of Maine

For a getaway to the Maine coast, for a couple or family, this is a great location. Waterfront property, close proximity to Brunswick, wonderful seafood - fresh catch to cook on the grill or go to a local restaurant, explore the coast, numerous hiking trails within minutes. Plenty of room for the family....we enjoyed the visit!!

Beautiful, well appointed property overlooking an incredible view of the bay. Was there for a family reunion. Used the dock for kayaking and fishing or just relaxing with family for good conversation. We had multiple days of clear skies. Great trip. Property manager was responsive and accommodating. We would come back again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful view makes it perfect!

This is, without a doubt, this best well-stocked house I have ever rented. Paper towels, toilet tissues, trash bags, condiments, etc., are plentiful. The view of the bay is breathtaking and makes the rental perfect. It is also a great location although many of the local shops only have seasonal hours. The house is a little dated and needs some cosmetic repair (hence, only 4 stars). The carpet is wrinkled and needs replacing, a set of blinds in the sun room was completely broken, the king bed squeaks, and the water pressure is dismal. On the other hand, the water filtration system is great and there is plenty of hot water. Also, I have severe allergies and am bothered by the least odors....there were none! Please note that all bedrooms are upstairs and there are only two "real" bedrooms with doors. The queen bed is in the loft, and it's very nice, but there is no door. Lastly, the trash must be emptied by 8:00 AM on Friday morning which is problematic if you are trying to check out at 10:00. The rental team was very responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely house with view

We enjoyed our stay at Highview. The house is very comfortable and we loved the view from the back deck. Only problem we had was king size bed is really creaky, but we put our earplugs in and wasn’t much of an issue. Well stocked with necessities & we liked the welcome gifts. Was easy to find and the location was perfect for our day trips as we went both directions. Got a little warm at night but was glad to have the fan in the room. Would stay again.

Great Rental House

We recently spent a week at this rental. I have rented many properties over the years and owned a rental property myself for several years. This property is by far the best equipped rental property that I have ever seen. Every detail, down to flashlights on the night stands, have been provided. The house was very clean and the furnishings were all in excellent condition. The deck has several chairs and a table with seating for four overlooking the cove. The view is outstanding, especially at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, a large refrigerator and many of the condiments and paper goods you will need. A floating dock is also provided that is ideal for fishing or boating. The rental company, Your Island Connection, LLC, was very helpful and prompt delivering all necessary information. This is a property that you are sure to love and I would highly recommend.
