A lovely hotel , would definitely stay again . Only problem was road noise , yet the view was lovely. Would ask for a room facing off the street if like me you are a light sleeper.

Comfortable and good breakfast

Staff very friendly especially the breakfast staff. Excellent selection and beautiful food. Room was lovely although a bit dated but still very comfortable and spacious for the price and Location. Our second stay here and will definitely be back again.

The room was well decorated and the bed was huge and comfortable. There was a great choice of breakfast and all the staff were lovely and welcoming. The cleanliness was a problem though. We had to ask to have slimy mould cleaned from a shower tile, there were cobwebs in the corner and the lovely big curtains were caked in dust when you moved them. We think this was probably the exception though and wouls stay again.

The overall area is great. Walking distance to everything in Newcastle. The problem arises in the bathroom. The shower head is terrible. One of the worst bathing experiences I’ve had. The beds are uncomfortable and noisy.
Shower head is too close to wall to comfortably rinse off. The shower door swings open and the floor becomes drenched.

Very centrally located hotel which was excellent value. Rooms and bathrooms quite small but amazing for the price. Would be better with just a large shower than shower over bath. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the room cleaning lady. Interesting old building. Would definitely stay again.

Grey Street Hotel has a welcoming vibe. Friendly and efficient staff for example Alex on Reception and Toni in the Breakfast room. The rooms were spotless with the most comfiest bed ever in a hotel that I have stayed in. The breakfast choice was amazing and hot stuff well cooked and delicious. Will definitely be back again.
