We had decided to visit this area for a few days after seeing some information on the internet about the area. We chose this cabin based on the online information and descriptions. The cabin was nice and had plenty of amenities for the stay. The cabin is small but has a secondary cabin with just the beds and no bathroom. So I thought there was a sleeper sofa in the main cabin where the bathroom is located. But no it is in the lower cabin with the two queen beds. If you donât mind having to go outside and walk to the bathroom whenever you need to then you will be fine staying here. So just be aware of the situation and plan accordingly. I would not stay here again just for that reason. But itâs a cute cabin and nice view of the mountains but itâs also a little bit of an inconvenience with the sleeping and bathroom arrangement. I would put a sleeper sofa in the main cabin and feel most couples staying would probably find that arrangement more convenient. The weather was not very cooperative while we were there but the winery, Blowing Rock downtown and a visit to Boone kept us occupied. My rating is based on our experience and preferences so others may be perfectly fine with the cabin and its setup. Just not exactly what we would want to do again.
This property is secluded and has all that you need. Itâs clean, recently updated, and beautiful! The views are great too. Itâs close enough to everything too while still feeling like you are alone. Loved it!
Property was everything we were looking for. Secluded, quiet, peaceful. Cabins were nicely stocked. Host was responsive and helpful. We have already booked our next stay here.
My family and I like to get away from the city life every December and this little gem did not disappoint. The cabin was stocked with shampoo, body wash and plenty of towels. There was also coffee and creamer which was a great touch. We thought the bathroom being separate from the room was going to be an issue but not at all. We had a great time! Our schnauzer enjoyed running around the deck and playing with the kids outside. The weather was perfect we made sâmores nightly by the fire. The cabin was centrally located. We were able to sightsee and of course with the snowy weather we took advantage and went tubing at Jonas, ice skating at Sugar Mountain and skiing at Appalachian Ski Mountain.Communicating with Robert was a breeze. I would definitely recommend Twin Oaks at Linville.
We had a great stay, came for a weekend ski trip to Sugar Mountain. Everything we couldâve needed was available in the cabin. Communication with property manager was first class too. We would definitely recommend this cabin if you want peace and tranquility in the mountains only a short drive from town.
A very nice cabin in a very nice location near blue ridge mountain road. And a very caring owner who was always available for us. We had a very exciting winter experience in this cabin and will certainly return in summer.
