Summary:

This beautiful beach home, nestled in the quiet, Peninsula Point neighborhood, is just a quick walk to the remaining beaches. The home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, as well as a detached studio unit behind the home with 1 extra bedroom and bathroom. It features 2 patios, a fireplace, and a gas barbecue. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 full beds. The detached studio has a queen bed and a private bath. The parking pad has parking for one vehicle.



The Space:

Nestled in the quiet and exclusive Peninsula Point neighborhood, this home is a two-block walk to the world-famous surf spot - The Wedge - and quick walk to the beach. It features two patios, fireplace, flat panel TVs, washer and dryer and gas barbecue.



LIVING and DINING



A Dutch door welcomes guests into the home, featuring new wood-look plank flooring throughout. The living area, with a sofa and two chairs, small flat screen TV, a chest-type coffee table opens out onto the patio via French doors. The updated kitchen has a stainless oven, built in microwave and dishwasher as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Preparing meals is a snap with plenty of counter and storage space.



BED and BATH



The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two full beds. Beautifully redone, the hall bath has a custom tiled walk-in shower.

The private detached studio has a queen bed, armoire, loveseat, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and adjoining bathroom.

The laundry closet on the front of this building has a full-size stacked washer and dryer.

OUTDOOR SPACE



The flagstone patio in front is outfitted with three loveseats, a coffee table and umbrella on one side, and two chairs on the other. The back patio has a table with seats for four and umbrella as well as a gas grill.



The parking pad has parking for one large vehicle.



THE LOCATION



The beach is a short stroll away, and guests are a healthy walk away from the Balboa Pier, Balboa Pavilion and surrounding boutiques and eateries. Ruby's Diner serves up burgers and salads at the pier’s end, where fishermen ply their trade and dolphins frolic in the waves. Children will love the playground at the base of the pier with an open, grassy lawn.



Balboa Village offers dozens of dining options - Mint Leaf and Great Mex are casual local hangouts, BJs Pizza and Cruisers are known for pizza, Harborside in the historic Balboa Pavilion has terrific happy hour specials every day in the Saloon, and fresh fish and beautiful bay views from the dining room. Catch the ferry to Balboa Island via car, on foot, or by bicycle to stroll among coastal-chic shops and cafes. Deep sea fishing and whale watching excursions can be booked through Davey’s Locker at the Pavilion

Excellent location

Great location, steps to the beach in a quiet, nice neighborhood. Property was clean and well organized. Just a note one of the bedrooms/bathrooms is not attached to the house so this may be an issue with small children.

Loved this little house. Clean, cozy and close to all we wanted to do (beach, bike rides, Great Mex, ferry to Balboa Bars), etc. Communication with property manager was fantastic and they seem to really care about guest experience.

Great Little House Amazing Location

The location of this little home was great! The home it self is on the smaller side but still very accommodating for our family. Everything was clean and in good condition. Kitchen was one of the better stocked I have experienced. It does lack a real dining space and there is an opportunity to have a dining area on the front porch. That is my only recommendation .

Perfect lil' Bungalow in the Perfect Location

We stayed here for a few days in April and it was delightful. We are a family of 4 and it couldn't have been more well suited for our needs and wants. A short walk to the L street beach and a short drive to the other beaches and amenities Newport Beach has to offer. Burr White was friendly, professional and responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful fall retreat!

This place is very nice, super clean, kitchen has all the things you need to cook/serve meals for 4-6, linens/beds were clean and very comfortable. Highlights were: gas fireplace, so cozy and warms the room, and of course, a short short walk to a quiet stretch of Newport Beach. Definitely a redo for us!!

Newport Beach family vacation

The house at Miramar was lovely and relaxing! It was perfect for our family get together! The pots and pans and crockery and cutlery were all an added amenities that made cooking and enjoying meals with family fabulous! The decor and airy ambiance of the house added to the relaxation! The granny apartment was a delight although my guests found it a tad hot! Overall it was a relaxing and pleasant stay near the beach! The minutes walk to the beach was also a big plus! I recommend this house to any family looking for a relaxing time near the beach in pleasant surroundings! Merci beaucoup!

Balboa Peninsula Stay

We loved the Balboa Peninsula property! The property was located in a quiet residential neighborhood, less than a block from the beach. The house was tastefully decorated with a beach theme. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The location allows for an easy 15 minute walk to get to the Balboa Pier or the ferry landing. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay again.

Great Bungalow

Charming and incredibly well located bungalow property near the Balboa pier and 2 blocks to the ocean. Great spot for us and our 2 kids plus mother in law with the separate studio in the back. Would definitely rent again!

Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed for four nights with our one year old daughter and this charming home was the perfect location. Just a few blocks from the beach and far away from the shops and crowds. Friendly neighbors and our daughter enjoyed watching all of the activity on the streets from the comfort of the front porcch.
