If you have a dog this property is PERFECT! There is a wing for people with pets and it is on the ground level with a patio and can easily take them outside in the morning. There is also a walking trail behind the property that was very safe.

Great little gem

The Howard Johnson’s in Middletown RI was perfect for my stay. Accommodating right when I walked in the door to check in. Staff was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was great I loved being on the side closest to the lobby as well as the “deck” it provided. The hot tub was great and i enjoyed the free breakfast in the AM. I loved the coffee available all day too.

Perfection!

This hotel is amazing! The price could not be beat for a late April stay. I went with my mother for a long weekend and we absolutely loved it! The pool was clean and towels were always stocked. Every employee I encountered was beyond helpful and pleasant. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The double queen room I booked had a mini fridge and a microwave and that was super convenient to have. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Do not hesitate to book at this wonderful hotel.

We arrived on Sunday the 27th. It was windy and cold on Monday. The weather was absolutely spectacular 75°, 3 sat outside. Enjoyed cocktails in downtown Newport, an amazing time and we will be back in June. There's nothing worse than those year.
