This was a perfect stay for us and our golden doodle. The room was clean and spacious, had a built in doggy house for our pup, included dog bowls too. Small touches make us and our pet feel welcomed ... treats and water bowls in the lobby, poop bins and bags outside. Even a noise maker in the room to help with sleep - ambience more than necessity. We didn't hear any noises from the street, other rooms or neighbors.
The location was perfect. We could walk to the shops and harbour restaurants. We even walked to the start of the cliff walk. The inn has a park up the road and the street is lined with charming colorful homes.
While no parking at the inn itself, they have parking available just steps away. We were able to find street parking outfront for our entire time.
The breakfast was great. Generous portions and accomodations to eat in or trays to take up the room. Coffee and tea was available throught the stay.
I wish there was a Paws on Pelham in more cities as makes travelling with our dog more relaxing and enjoyable!
Amazing hotel! Itâs super centrally located to all of the Newport happenings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well furnished. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the details here. And itâs totally dog friendly!
Charming place for dog lovers in a great location in Newport. Short walk down to waterfront, a block from a large park, convenient to many mansions and other attractions. Each room is well equipped and decorated for both people and pups. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Off season rates are quite a bargain given excellent breakfast and no pet surcharges. Note that there are somewhat steep stairs, e.g., up to main entrance and down to breakfast area. Room 6 was large with separate living area that our dog loved. Street parking was available in front in December, but reserved parking spot is a block away.
The B&B is a perfect setting for staying with your dog. Staff was lovely and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is perfect for walking around downtown.
