Excellent mobile home. Had everything we needed, and more! Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Reasonably priced for time of the year, but too expensive for late spring/summer months....a pity !
Would love to return next year, but will have to do so before the spring to avoid excessive cost. Only one complaint. The menu for the restaurant was very limited.
Check in process super easy, caravan was mostly ok. Sofa was visibly dirty on the end, some sections of the artificial wood were peeling off in places and the carpet was not properly hoovered. Slight issue with bedding smelling damp which was unpleasant and some food crumbs left in cupboards which we cleaned. Location was great and usually nice and quiet. Car parking right next to caravan was convenient. The resort facilities were enjoyable with access to pool and play areas. My children enjoyed the animal talk in particular. The bowling was expensive for what it was but the pool tables were good fun. Disappointingly the sauna was broken so not able to be used and the steam room was not up to temperature for the opening time with the lifeguard confirming it was not turned on until 10mins after it was supposed to be open. Overall slightly disappointing but Newquay was lovely.
The property was certainly dated and I had to spend the first two or three hours cleaning. The fridge freezer had a wall of ice that ended in a frozen puddle under the salad trays. There was someone's hair frozen into it. There was debris and crumbs in the freezer drawers and the fridge was awful. Not what you want to do after a four hour drive..There was an odd smell in the caravan, too.The sofa was dirty so I just used a spare quilt on it.But overall, after I had cleaned it, my stay was fine. The TV had excellent reception and the WiFi was very good but did go off now and then.I was in a caravan in the corner and there were no next door neighbours so I was undisturbed although at night, when it was pitch black, there could have been a safety issue as the caravan was right next to the road with only a sparse bush between myself and any potential axe murderer who intended to pounce on a lone woman..The staff in the bar and bistro were lovely, especially the young girl from Bristol who's name I didn't get. The vegan loaded fries were absolutely amazing and I had them as a takeaway.Although at 8.50 I must say, the portion was a little small..The gym facilities were basic but a welcome addition. I didn't get to use the swimming pool and spa as I preferred to swim in the sea at Tolcarne Beach. The reception staff were ok.They did get the lovely maintenance man to replace my broken kettle quite quickly. The grounds were immaculate, would book again for sure
We had a lovely stay at this place. It was clean, cosy, and exactly as described. It had all the essentials, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway, yet close enough to explore local attractions. We did st Ives ,Newquay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break and would happily return in the future.
The site was very clean and well presented. The caravans were exceptionally clean and the extra little touches like towels, tea, coffee and sugar plus milk were a great touch. The food in the restaurant was hot, fresh and reasonably priced which was a bonus.
Lovely resort with good facilities. Good location for driving to Newquay and Center Parcs.
Four stars for property condition as seating cushions in lounge had some staining but probably just water marks and wear and tear.
Was well equipped. Would recommend and will certainly want to stay here again.
