The location overlooking the estuary was really pleasing and quiet beautiful. Good access to other locations is good. My only criticism is that the decor is quite dsted. But this would not stop me staying there again in the future.

Nowadays we all have so many items to "charge up" more sockets by the side of the bed would be helpful, only 2 sockets the other side of the room available easily, Change the colour of the blinds to white, they make the room look dull and dark. Install an EV charging point in your car park.

On arrival I was to be in the annexe on the 3rd floor. The annexe does not have a lift and my suitcase was very heavy.The duty manager kindly moved me into the main building. The room was great with a lovely view of the river. The hotel facilities were clean albeit a little dated. It seemed as though some of the staff were new and still in training as service was a little clunky in the restaurant. But as the manager demonstrated when I checked in, the service ethos is good. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent three nights here as we were in the area for my late father’s funeral. We had chosen the hotel for the wake due to the location and excellent facilities for such an event and due to the fact that as a family, we had often dined in the Passage House Inn just down the hill, so the area held some special memories for us. For the wake we ordered a combination of afternoon teas and finger buffet items, which went down extremely well with the attendees. As far as the hotel is concerned, the reception area, bar and dining area/conservatory is excellent with a lovely elevated view of the River Teign Estuary. The room was comfortable and quite roomy but if I’m being picky, the bathrooms could do with some modernisation and refurbishment. My wife is in a wheelchair but the hotel does not have any accessible rooms. When booking, the staff did get in touch with us to discuss how best to accommodate our requirements and we were given a ground floor room close to reception, which was much appreciated. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and courteous and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a long weekend at the Passage House Hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony on the top floor room, which is a must. The room and facilities were fantastic.
