The outside of the home is run down and needs a lot of work, but the inside is beautifully remodeled. The kitchen is well equipped, except we had an issue with the coffee pot. It was a cheap Kurig, the water container was filled with water, but we discovered in the morning that it did not work. The owner said the previous guests didn’t say anything, but when you clean for new guests and see a coffee maker filled with water & a K-cup next to it that has a hole in the top, but not used, wouldn’t you check the machine? Instead of having someone go to a store for a new one, one was ordered. We had already bought groceries the night before, including more K-cups, but never used them. I was told one would be delivered the next day, but it took 2 days, plus when my husband went to get the box on the porch the next morning, the man that lives in the basement took it and said it was his. I had to contact the owner twice, because she didn’t understand at first that the tenant downstairs took the new coffee pot. She thought there was a delay in delivery & told me she had no control over shipment. Said she would have the tenant in the basement check the box. When we returned from touring during the day, the woman downstairs came running out to meet us with the new coffee pot. They knew the box wasn’t theirs, but took it, and we ended up with coffee only on our last morning.
