La Petite Maison is an excellent place to stay ! It's clean, cozy and close to all places that you would like to visit. We would definitely stay there again !
We loved the place. Very nice setup. All was as advertised. We liked it so much that we grilled out back instead of eating in town. It's a few blocks to town, but an easy walk. We loved seeing the neighborhoods and architecture.
The rental was clean, nicely renovated and walkable to the historic downtown area. There was clear instructions on procedures and expectations. The outdoor furniture and patios were in need of a bit of cleaning, so didnât spend as much time enjoying the patios as we expected to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the well equipped, cute rental. We would recommend staying here.
Inside was very nice and clean, had all necessary amenities for a short stay, nice to be able to sit on front or back deck to enjoy the weather, located in quiet area but close downtown NOTL.
4:00 pm is too late for check in, when travelling like to arrive and have some downtime before heading back out,
Beautiful Home-lovely decor-everything you need for a lovely stay in NOTL. Easy check in-perfect communication with proprietors. Very clean-lovely outdoor area with nice heating source/fire pit-you will enjoy your evenings and days sipping the delicious NOTL Wines on the deck.
The house is beautifully decorated and clean. It is in a great location. Walking distance to the main strip and Willow bakery which was great for coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, the house smelled like mildew as soon as we entered. We opened all the windows thinking it just needed to be aired out. There are 2 fans in the kitchen and living room. One is an air purifier. We quickly realized that opening all of the windows and turning on the air purifier wasn't really helping. The foul smelling air was coming from somewhere. We notified the host who informed us that the house has a mud basement and was damp due to the rain. We had no choice but to sleep there that first night. We slept with the windows open and it helped a bit. The next morning the host offered to put us in another property or provide us with charcoal air purifier bags. We opted for the bags as we were there for my sister's 60th birthday and had a tight schedule. No time to move. This made for a disappointing visit as we were worried for our health as I suffer from allergies. We spent little time in the house and again slept with the windows open. We left early the following morning. I should also note, we could not use the sink in the washroom beside the kitchen as very little water came from the tap. All noted, the house was so pretty unfortunately the smell of it took away from the beautiful decor.
The property is based in the Historic Old Town area of NOTL on a fairly quiet street. There's a convenience store about 2 mins walk away which is useful. Walking into he centre of the shopping area (Queen St) takes about 10-15 minutes along quiet residential roads which have some really interesting houses. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated throughout, and includes everything you need.
This location was just off the main roads so it was quiet but close enough to walk downtown if you wanted. A bakery one block away was perfect for breakfast.
The house was cozy and comfortable. We had a minor issue with the electric fireplace but it was quickly resolved with a short phone call. We are looking forward to returning in the Spring.
The property is lovely, very nicely remodeled, and a convenient location. We especially enjoyed the time we spent on the covered patio area in the evenings with the lit fire pit, and wine poured! One small caveat is that the streaming channels from the USA do not work in Canada. It would have been nice to know that prior to being on location to possibly remedy in advance. We didnât watch TV, but there was a football game the men would have liked to watch. That said, it would not have impacted our decision to stay at this location-overall wonderful!
This small, older house has been beautifully renovated. It is very well-equipped and the mattresses are very comfortable. It is about a ten minute walk to the âdowntownâ area and the theatres through lovely neighbourhoods.
This was a perfect size for our family (toddler and 6-year old) for a short stay in the Niagara area. Thirtyish minutes to the falls. Cafes and food options are a short drive or walk from the house.
This cottage was immaculate inside with a perfect layout for a couple to enjoy a quintessential Niagara on the Lake relaxed experience. All was precisely as advertised...would certainly recommend...Exterior facade is a bit deceiving in initial appearance...doesn't represent the beautiful interior design and accommodation....
The location was perfect. We were near the wineries which was the reason for our visit. This place was also near the old historic area which had a ton of shops and restaurants. The place is as described, it was clean and easy to find. We enjoyed the back patio with the fire pit in the evenings. It was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day.
