Great location. An older hotel with character. Although we knew that the location would be busy as on main esplanade did not expect to be affected by the noise as much as we were. Assumed doors would be soundproofed better especially as our floor is a newer addition. We had a lovely room on top floor with balcony and beautiful views of the sea however the nighttime traffic noise was not great. Especially as our room was dual aspect so potentially noise worse! The lack of sleep due to this is why we rated this a 3.

Located on Promenade Des Anglais, hotel West End offers panoramic view of the Bay of Nice while situated only 20 mins from the airport and close to key attractions. The hotel retains its old-world charm along with some fantastic staff across all areas like restaurant, breakfast, concierge, etc. Have to mention about Jeanne and Anne at the front desk who ensured that we have a comfortable stay. We also had the pleasure of being taken care of by Greg at the in-house Le Siecle restaurant. We had taken a three-bed sea view room and the view of the blue waters was incredible. Highly recommended.

This a beautiful historic property located directly on the Promenades des Anglais. Our room was exactly what we had requested. It was a spacious renovated room with a full ocean view and balcony. The bathroom was light and modern with ample storage space. The room was spotless. The front desk staff were very pleasant and accomodating. We unfortunately did not have time to try any of the dining options in the hotel. We would stay here again.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of this hotel, considering it was the most expensive lodging of our entire trip. Black mold in the bathroom and carpet improperly installed resulting in most doors unable to open/close. Creaky staircase and stuffy decor throughout, avoid at all costs

The property is poorly maintained. Rooms are in shambles. The flooring and walls are all rummaged covered up by old rugs. The elevator only 1 was working. The AC Won’t go lower than 72 degrees. The bedding is for children. They try to push together to twin beds to call it a suitable bedding for two adults.

The hotel is well situated and clean. The staff are really excellent and helpful-thank you to all of them. The breakfasts were also excellent. The sixth floor room was well situated but the metre wide wall obstructed the view somewhat. Finally a tiny thing-there were a couple of easily rectified areas of black mould in the bathroom/shower area. Having said that the negatives were tiny. We'd very happily stay at the West End Hotel again.
