Wonderful accommodations!

Wonderful property with great location right across and overlooking the Mediterranean and boardwalk. Located right next to restaurants, pubs, shopping. Lana was great at walking us through the property, giving us suggestions and checking that we were having a great time during our stay.

A Nice Place to stay in Nice

Overall a great stay. Location is excellent. We had a few minor hiccups but it wasn't anything that impacted us too much. The property manager is learning English and is very sweet, but with the language barrier we do feel we missed a few things. This not a true 3 bedroom. It is one room with 2 queens, 1 room with 1 queen and a sleeper sofa. AC in the bedrooms worked great if you are visiting in the warmer months.

Cumbersome Check in

The unit is nice, altho the balconies could be less cluttered so we could use them. The sheets and bathroom rugs covering the leather couch in the living room was unappealing, in an otherwise nice apartment, with an exquisite view and great location. Our check in process was not pleasant. There’s nowhere to safely pull over to unload, and nowhere to park unless you find a spot on the street. We were not sent our check in info until the day before we were arriving, with a long, complex explanation about the locks and the problems you can have if you don’t do it right. This is not welcome stuff for a 3-night visitor. We had to coordinate our arrival time with a property manager, as we were road-tripping and not on a predictable schedule. She sent someone who met us at the apartment who spoke no English, showed us how to use the keys, and took a cash check-in surcharge which we were also told about in the check in notice.

What a setting-wonderful

This apartment is very nice and the view is to die for. The balcony with a view of the ocean was perfect. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and the old city is remarkable. I lived Nice. Management company was very helpful and accommodating.

Everything was lovely, though the property manager is telling us we’ve “damaged” a towel rack in which we did not use but for its intended purpose. We are not accepting this responsibility for the “damage” they are claiming we made. On our initial walkthrough, we noticed the fresh towels were already hanging on the towel rack. We have followed all the house rules and requirements for our stay. Thank you

Location superb overlooking the sea and promenade. Great location for exercise enthusiasts. Layout of apartment allows for privacy. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the terrace with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. We plan to return for a longer visit

Fabulous location!

This apartment was wonderful. The location was perfect, allowing us quick access to Old town Nice, great restaurants and bars. Our favorite spot was sitting on the patio taking in the view. It was superb. Great communication with the property management, easy checkin/out. Definitely recommend!

Super vistas and super comfort

Beautiful property. Lots of amenities. TV not working properly but we did not bother to complain to get it fixed. A few little problems, i.e no French adapter plug for the UK microwave. Later discovered I should have used the hair dryer adapter.

Would absolutely stay again!

Clean, light, airy apartment with fabulous views and sea breezes! We enjoyed watching the Bastille Day fireworks from the balcony, as well as the people strolling by on the Promenade des Anglais. My teens loved the public beach just across the street. Lots of activity and fun energy all around!

Great location - Great Views

You really can't beat this location for ocean views, beach access and people watching. The apartment is very nice. The living room, balconies, kitchen and bathrooms are small but functional. It worked for the 4 of us during our short stay. Easy 10-15 min walk to the old city section. Note: the bedrooms have power shades that slide down over the windows - you just have to find the switch. This was skipped during our checkin and we slept with street lights pouring in during our first night. Here are some minor issues - but remember our stay was great: The door lock is huge and a bit cumbersome to use, plus only 1 key. I would change that if it were my place. Checkin was not ideal. The manager needs 45 mins or so notice before she can get there. We texted during the train ride to Nice and that didn't work well, so we had to wait once we arrived.

Heart of the French Rivieria

The property was everything we had imagined from the listing - no surprises. The breezes from the sea in the afternoon were delightful and we loved coffee on the balcony in the morning . Close to the beach, restaurants and groceries, we would return again. We loved the suite - we ate in several nights and the kitchen was well equipped...it was hard to leave. The beds were not super comfortable...but not any different than any other rental we have stayed in. We highly recommend this location for short or long term stays.

Fantastic!

This was a gorgeous property with a stunning view! The check in process was very easy, Anna was lovely and gave an excellent orientation. The building was very secure and in a good location within walking distance to many cafes, shop, and across the street from the beach. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We loved our stay!

Great Flat with Ocean View

This property is in a great location, is extremely clean and nicely decorated. Our family of four enjoyed a short stay here and found the location to be perfect for us. The management was accommodating and unit nicely appointed. The long list of rules and potential costs if there was an unfortunate problem is a little heavy handed, But overall great little place.

Quaint apartment that was perfect for our 'stopping by' from Barcelona to Italy. Pictures are true, and the home met our needs. Easy walking to parking, and restaurants. Bring soap and shampoo, not supplied, but everything else was great!

Lovely apartment with beautiful view of sea from balcony/sitting room

The apartment was very clean and with many amenities that you need when on holiday. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and utensils, and even some condiments that other people had left which is very useful not having to purchase say, salt and pepper. There is a washing machine, dishwasher and a full size fridge freezer. The flat has a/c which is essential as when we were there the weather was hot, but not hottest! There are two bathrooms, both with showers which would be helpful if there with a family. The balcony is ideal for meals and drinks out. The view is stunning, although, Promenade des Anglais below is a busy thoroughfare. The beach is excellent and the Med is very popular with swimmers. Take sandals for the pebbles as they can be quite sharp when entering and leaving the water, When we arrived we met Anna, Phillipes' agent who was tremendously helpful and told us all we needed to know about the apartment and how things in it (and some outside of it) worked. Also if you have any questions you can phone or message Anna Thank you Anna! The apartment is maybe a 1 mile walk from the old town but closer to some great places like Place de Massena which has BIG shops like Galleries Lafayette, Rolex etc and is also the centre for trams. Outside the apartment lots of buses stop so you could use these if you wished. We took the open top bus, Grand tour which gives really good insights into Nice and also goes to Ville Franche which is lovely. There are many beautiful places to visit, so this is a good centre for your visit to Nice. There are extra fees for cleaning etc. to pay when you arrive, which are not mentioned on the website so this is why the 4* rating as we did not discover this until we paid and the fee is non- refundable. I think the apartment is probably worth the cost, especially for 4 people (We were 2 but wanted it that way) just mention these payments up front, its nicer to know in advance. All in all, very clean very, well equipped, central, near the beach, beautiful views and a balcony and very well managed. It's a great choice for a holiday in Nice...

"Run don't Walk from this rental"

Hidden fees and no amenities. Buried in paragraph 4 was a 150 Euro cash fee for having a women show us the apartment and a 33 fee for taxes. We have stayed at numerous VRBO's ( 3 this trip alone) and this was the worst we have ever stayed at. Location is very good but no amenities- like paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, soap for shower etc. You get 2 towels and TP. That is it. The esplanade is very long and there are lots of rental options to choose from. Avoid this one at all cost.

Great location, fabulous view with balcony

Philippe and Anna were wonderful to work with. Very accommodating. The location is perfect. Beach access directly across the street (we highly recommend the restaurant on the beach just to the left). Grocery stores around the corner and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurants. The best part is the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or wine in the afternoon. Highly recommend!
