The breakfast and dinner buffet were very high quality. The Kaiseki dinner wasn't too impressive, given how much it costs. We didn't like some of the dishes, and there was too much food for the kids without an option to pay for a smaller kids portion.

A big property, with more than 12 onsen pools, pretty old n quite rundown. Clean and tidy, staff efficient, food excellent esp buffet dinner 7600 jpy with crab claws, and lots of shashimi thats fresh. Variety is good, breadfast is also good. However, lots of tourist buses and can be crowded. I had normal twin bed and its okay. Location, very near hell valley. Overall , its quite an experience.

This hotel is wonderful. Friendly staff and a fantastic range of pools in the onsen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bef feels like a cloud. Breakfast is a bit manic with other desperate guests, and not a wide western option - but great quality.

This is the kind of place to go to for a relaxing onsen getaway. The onsen area is enormous with various pools to try out, open late for a late night soak. Our traditional Japanese style guest room was spacious with comfy futon bedding and great amenities. The hotel breakfast buffet stocked with fresh, high quality menu items with plenty of Japanese and Western items.

This is the place to go if you want to experience hotsprings as there’s plenty of pools around. The hotel is quite big and the rooms were spacious. We booked a three single beds room but one of the beds was just a rollaway bed. The buffet dinner and breakfast was fantastic and the quality of the food was exceptional. There’s a dedicated parking for guest. There’s a good walking path to see geysers and it’s nice to do that. I would definitely visit again in the future

Nice upscale settings with scale. From th onsen you can see the hell valley. There are over ten pools of different types: doldrums, sulphuric, bubble, waterfall. there also outdoor pools where we saw an elf animal at night. Breakfast came with a large selection and all item were fresh and of high quality.
