We use the beach cottage to access the provincial park as well as the long point birding observatory. The park is about a five minute walk straight down Erie street while the LPBO banding station is located just around the corner along big cut Road.Beach access is also about five minutes down Erie street and down a short cul-de-sac.The cottage was very well cared for and rustic, which is our preference. Itâs was well decorated and has everything anyone could need to call home for a week.We will definitely consider returning next year during the fall migration which begins in late August and early September.
We didnt really know what to expect as we hadnt stayed at vrbo before. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras offered. Ie.indoor and outdoor games and all basic things we needed for a comforable stay were available. It was relaxing, clean, and the location was wonderful! Would be happy to return!
We had a great stay at this cottageâit was exactly as advertised. The front porch was a highlight, perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee. Inside, the cottage was very clean and stocked with everything youâd need for a comfortable stay. The location couldnât have been betterâjust a short walk to the beach, which made it super convenient for us. Highly recommend if youâre looking for a relaxing, no-stress spot near the water!
The house was very clean and well stocked. Sauna nice added bonus. Good location. Unfortunately it was off season so a lot of things in the area were closed but would recommend this location to stay in anytime of the year
We enjoyed hanging out , eating and playing games on our short little getaway!! Something to break up the week a great place to just unwind and enjoy family!
more than I expected. Close to my cottage. didn't get to enjoy that much since we were mostly visiting friends.
It was quite different than other trips since we would typically stay at our cottage on Dedrick Crescent which is currently being rebuilt.
Great cottage, as advertised. Very close to beach, and far enough away from the extremely busy part of town. Cottage has everything you need and then some.
My husband and I are travelling through Southern Ontario for 10 days with a focus on hitting the
spring bird migration hot spots, like Long Point. This cottage is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of both wetlands and woodlands, a conservation area and a provincial park. Great place, very comfortable.
