It was fine

It was fine. It was what it was. The $100 service fee in case of damage was a little steep in my opinion. At first for check in there was a guy on a screen checking us in, like on a zoom call, but then someone came out from the counter, which was weird. The room itself was nice.

Check in was virtual and I tried to confirm my dogs with the virtual assistant but they were unresponsive. I even asked for a first floor room for the dogs and she was unresponsive. Then when headed up the elevator it was very loud, very rickety, very scary - oldest and worst elevator I have ever been in. After 4 trips upstairs the manager called and evicted me from the hotel saying they only accept one dog - I had more than one with me but it was listed on my reservation and the virtual check in made it impossible to verify. The dogs had state identification as working dogs

Got what we expected- no frills but comfortable room, average surroundings, fantastic front desk service (Dave). One of the beds wasnt level, made noise getting in/out but otherwise was fine.
