The house was very nice, clean, and kitchen was well equipped. We took our family, 6 adults and 3 children, the house was a good size for 9 people. The pool was amazing, the kids loved it. Beach access from the house was OK you do have to walk up the dune and down the other side but still only took about 2 mins to walk to the beach. Would recommend this place and recommend Elliott Beach Rentals very friendly and helpful.

The house was not clean. My feet were black on the bottom within 15 minutes of being there. I was also not happy about the sheet situation. Although I do understand that it’s their policy to do not think that’s prioritizing the guest experience. I do feel like sheets are a “basic necessity” when renting a property. Overall I feel like it was not a good value for what we received. It also seemed smaller than the images. The property said it could fit 18 people and that would just be insane. We had 9 adult women and that was about max. Wouldn’t book this property or rental company again.

Sorry got confused as to what was going where. We had a great time but man it was hot this week. You have upgraded the deck and pool since we last stayed here and the work was well done and looks great. This is the same group of nine and the same yellow lab as two years ago when we were here. Hope to come back in another couple of years.

Nice Oceanfront property with your own pool in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach! Back deck with pool and ocean view is very nice! 2 putt putt greens on the property is a nice touch as well. Balls and clubs provided by property.. Only a 5 minute drive to Main St. for all grocery and surrounding restaurants and stores. Very easy to travel by golf cart for a fun as well. The only downside would be that the dunes block the ocean view a little bit being this is a 1 story home although still able to see ocean, just not the sand part of the beach. All amenities are up to date. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

Nice quiet place! Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. Does not come with any dish cloths or towels. Does not come with any bath towels or linens which was noted. No extra toilet paper, dish washer tabs, and very little dish soap. Conveniently the grocery store is 3 mins away. You can not see the beach from the house as it is blocked by a big dune. When walking to the beach wear shoes! There are tiny little pricker bombs all over and they hurt when stopped on. The house was clean and roomy enough for 6 of us. It is close to everything so that was nice. The directions for garbage and recycle were conflicting. It is Monday pick up but there were 3 trash cans and none were labeled for recycling. I also received a text stating garbage pick up was Friday but the paper said Monday. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the beach did not get super busy. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at Aw Shucks. Both times we had a great time; the configuration of this house works well for our family of nine and a yellow lab. Since the last time we stayed at Aw Shucks it has had a well-done upgrade. The kitchen had all the usual hardware in good shape and clean. We were having heat advisories it was so hot, but the air conditioning never failed keeping the inside cool. Having said that this is a cottage on stilts. Most of the doors were hard to close and the floor was not exactly level, I have been going to the beach, Maryland/Virginia all my life so that is all part of the charm I guess you could say, but we loved it all. The rental agency was easy to work with, check in was quick. My only complaint is that the linen was in a bag, you had to put all the sheets on yourself.
