Love the location, kitchen floor looked like it had not been mopped. I mopped, swept and clean the kitchen and bathroom.It’s not a big deal for me, I always clean before I leave. I will rent the house again.

Great house for our beach trip to begin the summer!Plenty of room and the pictures were very accurate. Great location and just a very short walk to the beach. Check in with as less than 2 minutes and we were ready to start our vacay!

Great getaway

This property is as it reads! Perfect for a quiet family vacation. Location is a 5 min walk to the ocean and close to the main strip so everything is nearby. House has a great homey feel and everything you could ask for. Thank you for a great experience, plan to book here again

Internet didn’t work well

Phone connections did not exist in the house. Tv did no work.The water in the freezer didn’t t run so no ice. Lots of dust behind tv. Not enough silverware. Called after several days and repairman came and fixed tv. And brought silverware. Yard full of stickers. Many on carpet.

Nice place close to the beach

The home was nice and only a few minutes walk to the beach. The outlets in the main part of the house were loose and would not hold the phone chargers, also the roku kept cutting out due to lack of power.

Concern that while my wife was alone a Mexican guy unlocked the door and walked in without knocking, she got up and told him he had the wrong place language communication prevented understanding, luckily a lad came up the steps then and said housekeeping. My wife told her we weren’t checking out until Sunday said thought it was today sorry. This could have been a very embarrassing situation and can be prevented in the future by placing chain locks on the door. A bandage came off in the middle of the night resulting blood on the top sheet, so I replaced the entire set. It would be nice if there was a clock above the entryway into the kitchen. Had a great time and enjoyed the place until the people checked in behind us and kept my wife up until around midnight. We got up at 0630 to get finished packing and that was a small quirk. Thank you and planning on next year

Too good to be true.

We rented this home over Thanksgiving. The listing shows that the property has a washer/dryer. It does, but you have to go outside and behind another property to a shed to get to it. It was locked so we had to call twice for assistance to get to it. One of the toilets wouldn’t flush properly. When I called on Thanksgiving morning, I was told that it would have to wait until Friday morning, so we were stuck with one bathroom for 6 people. The place also had cockroaches. These were not the beach Palmetto bugs. The manager of North Realty property was also difficult to deal with when I went to her in person over our issues.

Good Stay

Great stay for the price, quiet neighborhood good access to beach and overall just a nice section of Myrtle to stay in. House was nice but could use a little better detailed cleaning and fixing of a few things such as torn up blinds and just basic things that would be easy to keep up. Plenty of space one indoor shower but also an outdoor shower.

Accurate listing in a great location

This is a property that is no frills but offers good value for the location. We had a few issues that the property manager resolved promptly. Overall, I would recommend this stay for someone looking to be near the ocean at NMB on a budget.

Good Location

House was cute but it needs a good clean it needs paint bathrooms were not optimal as the walls were dirty. There was one shower other bathroom has tub which is not practical. The cleanliness was concerning saw roaches. The laundry room was pretty disgusting I would never use it. The front porch was nice but palm trees were dying. I feel with a little money the owners could clean this place up give it fresh paint it could be really nice. As it is I would not stay there again.

Cute house but...

The house was nice. It was a close walk to the beach. But the AC was terrible. It never got below 80 in the house. We ended up buying fans so we wouldn't suffocate. They need to clean out the vents and replace the filter more often. The refrigerator didn't keep things as cold as it should. We seen roaches and evidence of mice. They said it's on a quarterly spray. With as hot as it gets it really should be more like monthly. The tub in the one bathroom didn't hold water the drain is broken.. There was a shared washer and dryer. As long as you get nice people (unless us the back house hugged it up the whole week we were there) it's not that bad.

Mixed review

First of all, we were limited to our rental options because we have to travel with our 12 year old Boston Terrier. So, upon arrival I was surprised at the size of the house. The pictures are very deceptive. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and I mean a lot!!! The beds are small and very uncomfortable. But on the other hand, the location was great, loved the neighborhood. Short walk to the beach and great neighbors.

Awesome location and perfect for a small family

We stayed at this property and enjoyed our time there. It’s a 3 bedroom house, 3 double beds and 1 twin bed in the three bedrooms. Two convertible sofas. It has two bathrooms, but one only has a tub, so we all ended up using the one with the shower. This worked for us, because we were only 4 guests. For a larger family that will be an issue. There’s also an outside shower that we discovered the last day, so if you need a quick shower after your day at the beach, that will be perfect. Hehe. It’s an old house, but it’s pretty well maintained. Saw a few roaches there but not an infestation, and I think it’s because it’s a crawl space house. The beach is within 3 minute walking distance which we loved. We made all our meals, and the kitchen is fully equipped. My recommendation is to allow some free space so the guests can accommodate their things in the kitchen, but it’s no big deal. We spent 8 nights there and had a great time. Neighborhood was quite and allow a good run in the morning. We will love to return next year! The only incident we had, was on Sunday morning when a lady entered the house without even knocking and asked us if we were gonna check out or check in. We told her that our stay was until a few more days and she left without even apologizing. It was kind of rude and awkward. We are thankful that we were all fully dressed and no one was getting out the bathroom on a towel. Other than that very pleased.
