This was the first time my family and I visited Jay Vermont. We absolutely loved staying in the cottage! It was super clean, right beside nature and tucked in the mountains. There were neighbors but everyone was respectful. 10/10 recommend!!

The Stateside is nice and new. The problem was we were given the address to The Jay hotel about a mile away. The pictures were of The Jay on Expedia’s side. Our reservation was my for Stateside by Expedia. This needs to be clarified for people coming in after dark and trying to find the hotel.

Although we enjoyed our stay, we were disappointed when we were woken up at 0700 am to a tree being cut down right outside our windows, along with someone scraping and painting one of the door trims. The condo we stayed in also lacked normal appendices like extra sheets for the pull out couch, etc. We would be willing to stay again in hopes of a better stay.

Highlight was breakfast on the terrace at Clubhouse Grille. Room was nice enough. Bathroom sink was 90% clogged; drained very, very slowly. Someone came to repair around 9:30 in the AM, but we hadn't called. So that means they were just now responding to a previous guest's report however many days later.
